TRAINSPOTTING DVD 2003
This a truely fantastic low budget great British film, with a no frills approach that works on many levels.Fundementally this is a hard hitting story about drugs, addiction and friendship.
Due to a fresh and honest production and directional style, that solely relies on superb casting to portray the true and utter believe that the characters are real people and not actors making a movie about a sad if not repulsive tale.
Heroin is an evil poison, it grips its user so firmly and steals away life and function, also effecting everyone else assoiciated with its user, parents, grandadparents children, friends, everyone is at risk.
The risks are horrendous but the user's are simply past caring or understanding
they only love and care and crave and need the high of the next hit.
Why this film works so well, is due to the explaination of why? Highs and lows
the good effects alongside the bad,the nice feelings and the total pain relieve, seduces its victims. I believe this film, shows the viewer choice, and people have the right of choice. Choose life or choose HEROIN, you can't have both.
