This machine is brilliant where i had my freeview box and recorder stack now there is just the one sleek machine freeview, recorder, and player all in one and touch wood everything works, if i had one thing to gripe about it would be the remote you have to have Xray vision to see the wording for the buttons come on toshiba why spoil a good machine just because of this Regards Gerry

great dvd player/recorder. have a toshiba television so it was as simple as plug and playto set up. instructions for recording onto dvd easy to follow and remember, great quality picture and good looking machine.

Very difficult to use and not intuative in use, users will need to read the manual over and over before anything makes sense, the remote buttons are very small and difficult to read as the print is dark grey in colour. Only redeeming feature the Toshiba RD-97DT (250 GB) DVD Recorder / HDD Recorder IS CHEAP.
