The Rebel
The film, although nearly fifty years old! still stands up today, as a great slice of modern British comedy at its daftest.
The writers, Ray Galton and Alan Sipson, were light years ahead of any of their contemporaries when they produced this masterpiece of wit. One could describe them as the original 'Alternative' comedy writers.
Hancock, plays 'Hancock' Brilliantly, and with an excellent supporting cast, including veteran film star actor, George Sanders and the lovely Irene Handl this film definately deserves a place as one o the all time British comedy classics.
