Tomtom Tom Tom GO300 GPS Receiver

I got Tomtom GO300 and wanna to get another for my wife as it is the one she has become used to it. I started watching this model on E-Bay as I am frequent buyer of E-Bay. Soon I got the one which was displayed on ebay with the name of Tom Tom GO 300. It was not described as faulty in the description. I won it in the price of £38.50. It was a nausty surprise to receive it as it was not the Tom Tom GO 300 rather Tom Tom Go, was in the worst condition, faulty, not functioning and without Memory Card.
All these particulars were not mentioned in the description of the item. On asking about all these faults but he refused and defended himself very falsely. I have nothing to do except to throw it in the bin and to give negative feedback to the seller for his cheating, false description and misconduct.
I request you to invetigate and take serious action against this Seller to stop futher misconduct for other Ebayers.

i purchased the tom tom because i have a classic car and attend many shows it always gets me there.I also used it for a city break to york it got me straight to the hotel door with no problems at all and thats to a place i have never been before. I consider it a very worthy purchase and am pleased with it.

Tom tom go, well, it’s a sat nav device that hooks up to a satellite by GPS. This entry model sure is better than other I've tried out. It's quick & easy to use, not bad for a beginner. You type in a postcode or street name and it will guide you there will little or no bother. When a road it is taking you to is inaccessible it will reroute you, but you first have to continue away from the guided route down unknown roads before it click on that you don’t wish to go that way. But hey it's better than a road map ;-)

You can store you home address giving you one touch route home. You can also store other locations so that you don’t have to retype them in, just pick form a saved list.

This great little unit also warns of known speed camera locations and accident hot spots, it also warns of know speed restrictions (you must of course buy the add on's)

You can also download other things, for example point of interest & congestion charge zones.

PLEASE BEWARE:- Lock your tom tom up in your glove box or boot and remove any marks for the windscreen before you leave your car unattended. Trust me, thieves know what to look out for.

I love this piece of hardware,it assists me where speed cameras are,and makes sure i dont speed through them,and it also makes sure i dont speed when i shouldnt,and it obviously tells me where to go when i need it,all in all,it is money well spent.

This item had so many good write ups and reviews but new was too expensive for me. I have tried other GPS, but seem quite fiddly and never accurate. This looked to be a bargain, I was assured by the seller that it was mint condition and very simple to use, he also said that I would be pleased with it-and I am. Its not only boys who can play with toys!!! I like the idea of the ability to run my phone and MP3 through it. The Tom Tom is also compact very readable with a choice of day/night light,and an understandable menu.

I am very pleased with my purchase, it has given me freedom to explore new areas and know where I am going-hopefully!!

I bought this Tom Tom as it was a good price and i wanted one with maps for Europe.
I have not used it very much yet.
I was very dissapointed with the size of it. I did not know it was this big and heavy, it will not fit in my handbag so i have to leave it in the boot of my car.
Otherwise it works very well.

product was ok packaging was not too clever looked bashed and second hand. didn't have 240 plug as it suggested?

I already recived the gps and is in exelent condition and the delivery was quite fast.

very user friendly, excellent screen size and readabillity, threw my blue media rubbish across my van in complete disapointment, it never in three years took me to the right place , always two or three streets away , it was a complete waste of time , , tried the tom tom 300 and it was fantastic in comparison,it is a pleasure to jump in the van and know i was going to arive at the right destination,.
