it is an xmas present so it is unopened but very good service so i really cannot comment on how the product works but i have the same model and it is exellent

Hesitant at first to buy one of these toys, pride myself I can read a map and use common sense. I have to say I love the simplicity of this model and find it invaluable in strange cities especially at night for getting to the correct location with the mimimum of fuss. Great buy.

Its compact and it is handy to find places I have never been to. It warns you of any speed cameras that are in the area just incaes you happen to be slightly over the limit

I have a Tom Tom Rider that I use for my motorbike . It can be used in a car but my wife cannot get on with the bluetooth earpiece. So I decided to buy her a satnav for herself.

Our daughter has a TomTom One (earlier version) and she gets on well with it, so I decided to stick with TomTom and just buy the current version of the One.

It is very compact and is easy to set up. It cane with a leather case to protect it when not in use (always remove it from the car when not in use). The new fold-flat window suction pad is great - much better and more compact than the previous one.

It has the full Western Europe map set, which tilted the decision as we will be driving to Germany next summer, via France, Belgium and Netherlands. You can buy units with just the British Isles map set but I felt it was worth getting the full Western Europe map set. It actually cost less than a lot of similar ones with just the British Isles map set.

It is a very easy thing to use and gives a tremendous amount of confidence to the driver. There is no need to find your place on a map and then plan you route if you miss a turning - the TomTom automatically recalculates you route as if nothing had happened.

All in all, a great little device.

i like the tom tom i bought its small enough to fit in glove box with the windscreen holder too so no obviouse signs for the thieves. tell me when there are speed cameras only thing that disapointed me was the glare on the tom tom screen from the sun. it makes it quite hard to se sometimes. ive also used it on my motor bike too in the tank bag battery lasted plenty time there and back to liverpool from bradford with battery left over worth the 100 quid i paid...

we bought this receiver as we were travelling to scotland and yorkshire for our holidays!! At first we didn't think it was working, but we put it down to the mountains in scotland and not getting a good signal. once on the major motorways and A roads it worked a treat. We didn't get any problems with traffic for the whole holiday except the journey home....only 80 miles from home and up pops a message to say there is a hold up of traffic 12 minutes away...with an estimated delay of 24 minutes....being updated every minute and increasing by 10 minutes each time. we were able to reprogramme our tomtom one satnav to go around the delay and it redirected us around the most gorgeous villages and scenery which we would otherwise have missed if we had stayed on the M5 and parked...for what turned out to be a 3 hour delay!!!!

Spent most of the holiday thinking we had probably wasted our money, but after that amazing rescue right at the end i can totally justify the money now!!! I almost look forward to delays on the motorway now just so we can get redirected around it!!!!

Handy little Satnav. Lightweight and easy to use. Clear directions and screen size just right. Colour and graphics good. Also doesn't take up too much space on the windscreen like original Tom Tom One.

Found it was limited as it didm't have bluetooth facility or able to use phone through it. For safety camera alerts I have to buy an optional aerial. Not as versatile as orignal Tom Tom One.

bought this sat nav to replace a navman, very impressed with it . it does everything it promises and more,good clear voice instructions, easy to read and understand screen,i am useless at anything technical but i found this very easy to use, even updating maps. i would definately recommend buying a tomtom sat nav to anyone who wants one reasonably priced and easy to use.
