Reviews on CD1 all the hits are here as you have heard them but if you want the 'live' sound CD2 recorded in Brixton Academy, gives you the authenticity of a live gig. Report this review I've always had a liking for the merriment and often raucous abandonment found in The Pogues well known tunes such as Irish Rover and Fiesta. However, for some reason I never got round to actually buying one of their albums. Therefore, I thought that it was about time I got around to buying some of their stuff and I was not disappointed. I think this collection provides a good overview of their output over the years and the live CD gives a chance to hear what they sound like live these days. Report this review I think the pogues write and sing brilliant songs, I bought it after hearing the pogues on television over christmas, I went to EBay out of curiosity to see if there was any for sale on there, I then had the problem of choosing which album to choose!!! My only complaint is that once I put it on I want to keep listening to them so have got to think about buying more. Review ID: 10000000002936538 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
