Not one bit. Norton like to stretch himself and he certainly did in this movie, think 'Rain Man'! De Niro and Brando did what they do best, play themselves. Its about a score, a heist, a robbery. Does it go to plan? Of course not! Watch it, you won't be disappointed! Review ID: 10000000003438381 Was this review helpful? Robert De Niro is at his usual best, Edward Norton plays a crafty ambitious tea leaf and Marlon Brando is a greedy fixer. Very entertaining, gripping thriller, interesting plot, exciting suspense scenes and some excllent acting. Definetly worth a look. Review ID: 10000000006028175 Was this review helpful? HIGH POWERED ACTION AND NON STOP FROM START TO FINISH. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Review ID: 10000000005877535 Was this review helpful? Report this review Review created: 19/02/08 by: This is a very clever movie, full of twists and turns that make a good movie less 'obvious' (like some American movies can be!), and keep you thinking. It's a clever idea in the first place, but very well acted by DeNiro/Norton and the late Brando. Norton portrail of a handicapped man is very believable, and not at all distastefull in my opinion. The only down side, for me, was the unnecessary use of bad language through the movie. I find it pointless to add 'f', 'b' and 'j' words into a sentance. This aside, it is a movie classic in the making, and well worth the 99p I paid for it :D Review ID: 10000000005723487 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
