And now I know how Joan of Ark felt...

A disc that has to be part of every collection. Listening to the CD you discover parts of yourself that you have forgotten. From the tame rage of 'never had noone' to the satyre of 'the queen is dead' and from the explosion of 'bigmouth strikes again' to the monologue in 'frankly Mr Shancly' this work will have you asking for more and more!

The Smiths-The Queen is Dead (CD 1995)
A classic album from the mid 1980's from the Smiths. This album often appears in the top ten of albums from different sources of all time. With the different jangley guitar of Johnny Marr and the dulcet tones and brilliant lyrics from Morrissey taken from a time when the Smiths were in there fame days this is one for the collection. The Smiths- The Queen is Dead
I bought this cd for my son, who loves The Smiths. I can only go by what he has told me, but he said it is an excellent cd and would recomend it.

Sound of suburbia

Took me back to my late teens - the angst ridden hormonal confusion suffered in suburbia made bearable by this, the first Smiths album I ever bought.
