The Lost Boys (DVD 1998)

if you have never seen the movie where have you been, this fresh take on the traditional vampire charichter was the turning point making vampires cool, the first real crack at makeing the viewer wont to be the vampire reather that the so called heroic slayer. it will not disapoint if your a vampire fan.

I love this film soooooo much, i first seen it when i was only 11 ten years ago. it has remained one of my favourite films of all time. great for a nyt in love it, recommended. xx

good film had it on vhs , but it was showing its age, so now got it on dvd, also like the new film lost boys the tribe , but can not aford it at the moment. will wait till it comes to the uk

this film is a cult classic and puts a new look on vampires,with a dark humor.
i would recomend this film but it is a film from 1987 so the graphics are not the best.still a great little film for a night in with a loved one.

had this on video and always thought it was entertaining and funny in parts. an old favourite for myself and my children. not too scary although the vampires are excellent. keifer sutherland plays the leader of the lost boys and does it very well

i decided to buy this movie because it is one of the best films ive seen, it is a movie you can watch over and over again.

An absolute classic movie from the 80's, this is why vamps are so darn cool. If you haven't seen it yet, why not?

i first saw this film when i was a teenager and thought it was great. the storyline is super and the cast are young and fresh and it is also very funny aswell. this is a must have and i love it.

excellent film can watch again and again good acting love any vampire/horror films with story line to keep me intigued

If your into vampire films then you will love this one, mixed with the whole rampent teenage film stuff.

I think this is a fantastic film, i have been wanting this film eversince i first saw it as a teenager. The soundtrack is also great. The lost boys to me is one of my favorite films of all time.

i love the film it is one of the best vimp films around of its time with a great sound track to match i loved it when i was growing up i watch it that many times the video i had snaped so when i saw it on e bay i jumped at the chance to get it again

Remembered this movie when I was younger, absolutely brilliant. The dvd was in brilliant condition and I enjoyed watching it again.

Great film, FAB sound track! Takes me back to care free days and part of the fabric of being a teenager. Grainy quality to the actual DVD - due for a digital remake. Highly recommended!

if you aint watched it your'e missing out.great film,good acting from a set of young actors with a great story line.a different approach to vampire films that realy worked.i give this film a 5star rating as its from my era. with the sequel(most of the same actors) due out later this year(08) i thought i'd better buy it now as no doubt the film will cost more then.

If you don't already know of this film you really should. It's an absolute corker of a vampire flick but with a modern feel. None of the tombs and crypts of traditional movies. This baby has leather clad biker bad ass vampires who want to party and stay forever young (don't we all ha ha!).

See Keifer Sutherland (Jack Bower in 24) looking really fresh faced as the leader of a vampire group who encourage Micheal, the new resident to the area, to join them.
This film has fun moments, scary moments and downright sexy moments. The sound track throws out some corkers, 'People are Strange', 'Won't Let the Sun go Down on Me'and so on.
This is a movie that you can watch over and over again and still feel it's 'newness'. Nostalgic for us 80's fans and a new adventure for the younger generations. Cult Classic...timeless! :)

i love this film its about a mother & her two sons who move to a new town in san francisco were there grandad lives to start a new life when the oldest son falls for a gypsy vampire called star who hangs with a gang of vampires & he races with them he gos to this cave & they get him to drink blood & turn him in to a vampire his brother finds out & joins up with two friends who are vampire hunters & sets out to kill the head vampire to bring his brother back.

it is a great film and i needed to buy it because i had it once before and lent it to someone and i never got it back. it is another one of my favourite films. it was in great condition when it arrived and it came very quickly and i was very impressed.

this is a classic film,i first saw this film years ago and watched it whenever it was on television.its one of those films that you can watch over again so i decided to buy the dvd so that i could watch whenever i wanted.a must see film if you havent already.

Getting on a bit now but still a great film, creepy at times, funny at times, a joy to watch the whole time. Sutherland is excellent of course. Watch out for a nice twist at the end!

I looked on Ebay for The Lost Boys Dvd because I couldn't find it in the shops. For those that don't know The Lost Boys is a classic eighties vampire movie starring non other than a very young Kiefer Sutherland as the leader of a gang of not so classic blood suckers.
The story is about a single mother and her two sons moving to a new town for a "fresh start", not knowing that the town they have moved to is over run with delinquant vampires. Michael the eldest son is sone befriended by the vampires and Little brother is left trying to save the day. The movie also boasts a fantastic sound track.

I have been looking for the Lost Boys on dvd for ages, It is my favourite film of all time. It was very reasonably priced and just had to have it. I know I will get years of pleasure from it.

I LOVED THIS FILM WHEN I WAS YOUNG AND DECIDED THAT MY SON WOULD PROBABLY ENJOY IT NOW THAT HE'S (NEARLY) OLD ENOUGH TO WATCH IT (HE DID!)
IT'S GREAT BEING ABLE TO INTRODUCE YOUR KIDS TO STUFF FROM SO LONG AGO, IT FEELS LIKE WE MUST HAVE BEEN WATCHING CINE FILM AS THE VIDEO CONCEPT IS SO ANCIENT BY TODAYS STANDARDS.
