pink floyd vs the Falklands war - very political
Interesting album released in the USA. Written in protest at the Falklands war but not released in the UK - presumably because there was no majority anti-war feeling here. Read the Wikipedia entry about it.
I bought it after hearing it mentioned in a film on TV, realised we had never heard of it, found it on Ebay in minutes and ordered it there and then.
Classic PF sound, some similar melodies to both past and later work which is both a good and a bad thing. Gilmour's musical influence is very strong. A good album but in my opinion not their best. No regrets buying it but personally I prefer "The Division Bell".
