Album Notes Collecting some of the best-loved cuts from the band's tenure with Parlophone records, this celebration of Radiohead is the ideal place for the novice to begin. In no way chronologically or progressively structured, this 'Best Of' contains singles and the more popular album tracks, mostly from the band's first three albums. Material from the second three albums recorded for Parlophone feature less, but notable favourites such as 'Idioteque' and '2+2=5' are worthy inclusions. Monster singles 'Just', 'Paranoid Android' and 'Street Spirit' will be familiar to most, and are prime examples of Radiohead's early/mid period sound. The second disc focuses on later, more left-field material, and includes a live version of 'True Love Waits'. | |||||||||

Report this review  Lots of classics but mainly from 2 albumsReview created: 05/07/08 by: The 2 CD limited edition has CD1 the same as the 1 CD "Best of" album and CD2 with a further 13 tracks taken from all the albums up to "Hail to the Thief" (2003). The whole collection contains 7 tracks each from their classic albums "The Bends" and "OK Computer" and only 3 or 4 from each of the four other albums. While the musicianship is good throughout the standout tracks and best songs seem to be all from "The Bends" and "OK Computer".
