A strange take on the original

I had read tough review on this movie. After watching the trailer I was undering the impression these fools don't know what they are talking about. This seems like a lot of fun and stars two of Hollyswoods finest Renee Zellweger and Matthew McConnaghy. Was I wrong? If there was a word beyond wrong, that's how wrong I would be. After watching Renee in this movie it is hard to believe that anyone cast her in another movie. Kudos to the coach who has since taught Zellweger her acting skills. As for the rest of the cast, there could not be a lesser bunch of talented actors. McConnaghy's peformance is what holds the movie together as the man with the robotic leg. It has to be agreed that the film is a far stretch from the original Texas Chainsaw films, this version is a mock of the original. Leatherface himself .. Well he's not a force to be wreckoned with .. unless you want an acident in your pants. He's nothing more than a man child in a silicone mask wearing lipstick. He does what he's told, and lets off the ocassional ghastly scream in sign of imtimidation. That's right, Leatherface is nothing more than i big scaredy cat with a chainsaw. This really is a strange film, I honestly could not believe how strange it is. I suppose for that alone it's worth the watch. Sadly for me the cast utterly destroyed this film
