Terminator 2 - Judgment Day (DVD 2001)

An incredible sequel, to a Great SF film.
As with the first film everything was great ,only this time the special effects department had a bigger budget and you can see where the money went, it set the standard for all future films.
 
Plot Summary:

Skynet is losing the battle against the humans so it sends a updated Terminator (T1000) to kill John Connor while he is still a young boy.

Meanwhile the future John Connor once again leans Skynet's plan, and modifies an old Terminator and sends it back to protect his younger self

As with this was the One Disc edition obviously not much room for extras.

However as with the first movie there are lot of editions to choose from, if your looking for value try the Trilogy boxset which has all three films and a host of extras.

probably the best of the Terminator films and the only one I didnt have in my collection as good today as when it was first released.

Definately the best of the terminator series. all action with thrills galore and a clever follow up story from T1. Well recommended

All the Terminator films are good but T2 is one of the best ones along with the first. This is the first terminator where it is terminator versus terminator and this terminator is more advanced than the one Arnold Swarzenegger plays(T-800). The T-1000 is able to take on the actual appearance of people and not just mimic voices. The T-1000 is definitely the nastiest of all terminators.

What more can be said about how amazing this film is that hasn't already been said, its flawless. Dvd is a top release with loads of extras and will tide things over untill the 'Skynet Edition' is released on Blu Ray in June.

i have bought the dvd for a bargain price less that £5, so the value is outstanding. At a time when bluray is breaking through and the grave for dvds has been made, the T2 dvd 2 disc set is great. The visuals of the movie have been remastered and the quality looks impecable when played through an upscaled dvd player to 1080p, ( i used ps3). The sound is also in dolby digital 5.1 surround sound which adds more quality to the set.

The second disc has a number of features like the making of the movie and the making of t2 3-d in universal studios theme park in america, this is also fun to watch.

overall, i really enjoyed this movie, its well worth the current price compared to the bluray version which also lacks extras...

As a blue ray is better than normal dvd, but I feel blu ray specials should be better than a normal DVD, giving more reasons to buy blu ray.
This DVD great film and SFX which bluray makes the most of.
To many blu Rays are being produced and not giving extra as one would expect, this DVD scapes through on this mainly due to being such a great movie.

the effects on this film are brilliant,its arnies best role ever and this disk is full of great extras

12 years have passed since the first Terminator was sent back in time on a mission to kill Sarah Connor before she could give birth to her son, John Connor, the future leader of the human resistance. It failed. John is now a rebellious adolescent and a custody of the state.
His mother, Sarah, has been incarcerated and placed in an insane asylum after a failed attempt to blow up Cyberdyne Systems, and now her foreknowledge of the coming armageddon has driven her to the breaking point.
But again Skynet is going to attempt to alter the future by sending a more advanced and lethal Terminator back in time to undo their ultimate defeat. The target is now John Connor, himself, and like before the resistance is able to send another protector for him. The only question is: who will reach him first?

Great action movie, brilliantly played by all the actors and actresses...

This is the first sequel to James Cameron's original masterpiece and a very worthy one at that.In my opinion it is much better than the first movie with amazing special effects for the time and some pretty solid acting from Schwarzenneger and Hamilton making it a rollercoaster ride from start to end.The version i purchased is the extended version and watched in full 5.1 DTS sound is an experience on its own i thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.
With over 6hrs of footage with the extra features it's probably the best £2 i ever spent.Even though the second sequel has been out now for a few years i still believe this movie far outweighs the others on story,action and special effects in my opinion well worth a look.

Terminator 2 is in my opinion the best of the trilogy. The budget for this movie broke all the records when it was in production and it was worth every penny. The special FX still look good years later.
The characters are engaging and the story moves along at an exciting pace from start to finish. Brilliant!!!!

An excellent case of Hollywood can do sequels. The plot premise, which everybody knows from the first film, is nicely turned on its head with Arnie protecting the young John Connor and his mum from an even more efficient killing machine. It's this interplay that makes the film more poignant and memorable. And, as Arnie said "i'll be back!" for T3.

Not only one of the greatest sequels of all time but one of the greatest films of all time. packed with hours or extra and bonus material.

One of Arnnies all time classics, a must for any movie collector and Arnnie fan. Arnnie's best played his bad-ass self as mean machine the terminator. A well remembered phrase by the man himself 'I'll be back'! And he did, in Terminator 3 'Rise of the machines'. But nothing beats T2 Judgement Day, the best of the 3 bu the collection must be owned.

Bought for my 13 year old - he has watched it 3 times already. Action packed, fantastic special effects and a good story line. Edge of your seat stuff.

i got what i like .this movie is one of my favourates.i was happy to get if from ebay.it was in good condition and cheap.what i dislike is this..the postage delayed and i wasnt happy at all

i love the fack you get one off the best dvds around with out the highstreet price tag. pure action one not to miss. will be collectabel in the future
