GREAT CLASSIC MOVIE VERY ENJOYABLE ONE FOR YOUR COLLECTION THEY DO NOT MAKE MOVIES LIKE THIS ANY MORE EVEN THE SPECIAL EFFECTS ARE SUBERB YOU CAN NOT BELIVE THAT THIS FILM IS OVER 50 YEARS OLD

i saw this film and decided to buy it as i remember watching it a a kid at christmas times i was very pleased with the sellers communication and with the quick postage the item was as described and was in great condition.

This is a beautiful story based one of the best of Prophets Moses, although this version does differ from other different versions of the portrayal of Prophet Moses life - i.e if you look at Dreamworks animated version, its biblical version is different of that from the Torah and from the information we have been given in the Quran. So I would watch with an open mind as to the exact chain of events, however the main underlying story and events that take place are covered in all three religions. The essence of this story is what makes this a beautiful film to watch and I would recommend this to anyone who loves history and religion or would like to have a better understanding of events from our past. For a film set in olden times, it has done wonders with the limitations that the director and the actors had to work with. The lead characters make a great performance especially Charlton Heston who plays lead character Moses. I think he did a brilliant job, as he did in many of the other roles he played. I would definetly recommend this film without a doubt but rent it before you buy if you your not to sure...i would say that this is one film that should be in everyones dvd collection...Enjoy!

This movie is absolutely brilliant. The special effects are great considering it was made in 1956. I just had to watch the whole film in one go. It was reccomended by a friend who, saw the original.
