I love this film, Styling is the main focus of the film and it works, I even chopped all my hair off and had a fringe similar to tank girl. Has inspired most of the work that I do. A must see film you will never want to part with it and I could watch it over and over again.

Tank girl , you got to love this film its so adorably outrageous! this is what i love about it and with a girl super hero, bring on the girl power! this has amazing music all the way through the film and the actors are amazing, one thing this film is addictive!

Not for the politically correct!
Tank girl is fast thinking, funny, athletic and straight to the point. She's a woman who knows what she wants and she tends to get it.
I personally love the film, but it may not be to everyones taste.
I would watch it again!

Arrived quickly and in perfect condiction, thank you.
Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. There's only a 20-minute interview with the director and other shot "making-of" vignettes.

Tank girl for me was a blast from the past, i watched it when i was younger and barely remembered it. I hadn't forgotten tank girl getting it 'on' with a kangaroo though. it wasn't as good as i remember (tank girl is slightly more annoying!) but the soundtrack was good and seeing naomi watts look like an average woman made me feel much better.

Awesome :)" I got two words for you! .... Brush your teeth! " This film is amazing - love it. even if you're not into the original comics, this film is worth watching over and over again.

Tank Girl-DVD 2001-Lori Petty-Naomi Watts

I bought this DVD as one of the stars is Naomi watts, who in my opinion has never made a bad movie.She has now!.The plot, such as it is set in the Year 2033,and since a human meteor(What you say!) hit the earth the world hasn't been the same.
The plot is so silly I wont bother explaining it except that the female lead (Lori Petty) speaks in a continual whining voice,and the movie is so bad I had to reach for the eject button after 10 minutes.
Anyway,Tank Girl(Petty) teams up with "The Rippers" Rapper Ice "T",and Naomi Watts to defeat the mega villain Malcolm McDowell the leader of Water & Power.
Obviously I later did sit through the whole thing which is why I know this ,(Sad +++++++ you might say).I later found a review of this Movie in one of my many Movie review books and it stated this was not a good career move for McDowell, or Watts. as the Movie bombed big time.
Finally, I like bad, inept Movies, and indeed have a whole collection of them, but this is something else.Thankfully Watts later starred in great Movies such as David Lynch's "Mulholland Drive", "Eastern Promises", "The Ring remake",and "King Kong" ,but she was up to her old tricks in "The Children of the Corn 4"which obviously isn't as bad as this.
So Naomi if you are reading this I think you are a Great,and beautiful Actress,but "Tank Girl",and "Children of the Corn 4" are a dreadful waste of your talent.
