I listened to this album once and I fell in love with these songs ..
Beautiful World is a different level to anything Take That have done before they've matured and the result is an incredible album without any real weakness. You have to hand Take That their dues , after ten years off they have not only returned with appeal they have also moved to a different level.

I was but just a boy when i remember seeing all my mums Take That albums, and i also heard them from other albums (Simply the best radio hits as an example) and many other albums with variations of music on. I obviously learnt about Robbie leaving the band and how the break up affected many a young teenage girl! I heard patience for the first time on the radio. I decided to buy the album after it becoming such a great comeback single; i was not dissapointed. The album is brilliant for old and new Take That fans.
The top 3 songs ...
1. Shine - The best up beat song i have heard in a while and the vocals are fantastic ... who needs robbie!
2. Reach Out - First song on the album and a great open and come back album.
3. Patience - Although all the songs are very good on this album, i am going to have to put patience here as its a great song.
My recommendation is to either buy online, or go out to the nearest store and get this album. Even if you have any doubts just buy it because you will fall in love with it!

When I first heard the album, I stuck with listening to Patience, Shine, Mancunian Way, and Wooden Boat. However, one day I let the album run through and was surprised because you never normally get an album where you like ALL of the songs! It is very impressive!
All the songs have a beautiful upbeat feel. Amazing songwriting from Gary Barlow as always will keep you hooked on every single lyric.
They have already released Patience, a number one single that sold massively and Shine is to be released on Monday! This is thought to top the singles chart straight away!
Definitely a great buy and not just for Take That fans. They are all-rounders and I strongly suggest that you buy it!

I'm really impressed with the way Take That has made a comeback and without Robbie Williams, which is a good thing considering they don't need him anymore and I for one am glad he isn't in the band anymore.
I have given five stars because I think the lyrics on this album are absolutley beautiful, fantastic songwriting and nice laid back vocals.
I do not think that just because they are older now it doesn't mean they have lost any of their appeal, I think they have improved with age and so has their songs.
Recommended if you are a serious Take That fan, or you have come home from work after a stressful day. They will melt away your fears and make you realise that this is in fact a beautiful world.....

Oh me god, the boy's are so back with this!!! Couldn't wait for it to come out, and all this time on, I'm still wearing it away by playing it over & over!!! Favourite track is It's Like I Never Loved You At All, gorgeous song!!! And the obvious Shine & Patience. They all take a turn with the vocals which is fantastic and shows just how talented the boys are.....waiting for the next one!!!

I wouldn't say I'm the first to go into my local record store and buy a CD featuring a boy band. But you have boy bands and then you have Take That. Being someone who grew up with their music I simply couldn't afford not to listen to their new album 'Beautiful World', and a couple of months later is still sitting in my CD Changer. Their album has got to be one of their best to date, with a track list which I have forever on repeat. But surprisingly their first single release 'Patience' is not my favourite, my favourite is the title of their album 'Beautiful World', which although has had hardly any air-play on my local radio station is simply outstanding and worth a listen too. 'Smile' is again another punchy, amazing track and if your on the road as often as I am, it can make a 100 mile journey far more relaxing, interesting and exciting. If you grew up with the band or you have a huge addiction to music this is an album which has to be in your CD collection, or better still, on your Ipod.

I brought this Item because I lost the one my Nan Brought me for Christmas and I really like Take That and it was to replace the one my Nan brought me for christmas I needed to buy it as cheep as posible as I could not affored it otherwise with bills and things like that at that time.
The item is really great and I trusted it will work fine unless it gets damaged in the post but the seller packegded it up well so I dint even need to worry about that
Their is absoulty nothing I dont lkike about this item and thats why I also left really positive feedback to the seller.

I was over the moon when the boys made their comeback. They sound so much better than they did before!!!! 'I'd wait for life' has to be the most amazingly beautiful track, as is 'wooden boat', sung by Jason. It is really difficult to choose a favourite as they are all fab!!! Can't wait to see them sing them live!!!!

When i first heard that the TT boys were getting back together for a reunion tour, everyone hoped they would do a album also...and what an album they have delivered.
I have been a fan of the boys since 1992 and i have to say this is the best stuff they have done so far. They whole album is just brilliant. All 4 band members get a chance to sing on the album, that includes Jason too who surprises everyone with his wee diddy - Wooden Boat!
Howard adds his voclas on 2 of the tunes and Gary does his bit on some also. But the member who has come on leaps and bounds is Mark. His vocals have improved a lot over the years..Just listen to Babe and compare it to Shine or Hold On.
Favourite tracks a hard one but it has to be 'Like I never Loved You' or 'I'd Wait for Life'. First time i heard these tunes it gave me shivers. All the songs are beautifully written by all the boys.
Can't wait to hear them live in November.
So if you were a fan in the 90's or just love there new tunes Patience & Shine..go out and grab this album. It is just Amazing!!

I bought this CD as I had wanted it for a while but do not treat myself very often and this was a way of giving myself a treat at a fraction of the normal price. It was exactly as described in the description and i have enjoyed it very much.

The first time "Take that" were around I thought very little of them a silly band for young girls. However this just goes to show that like a good wine with age they have become really good. The voices and quality of the songs are great and it is the type of CD you could play over and over again.

I decided to purchase this for my good lady who is a fan of the above, however, having won the auction and duly paid for the item we still await delivery, the seller is no longer registered with ebay and despite remonstrating with him in no uncertain terms we now have to accept that we have lost our money.
I have reported this to paypal and it would appear now that they are no longer interested, advising me to contact the seller which we have already done, in order to try and resolve this issue.
There are times I am afraid in this so called modern world where unscrupulous people exist out there who are very much the oposite to us, we are honourable and incidents like this bring a bad name to ebay, this is not good news for you and undermines the confidence of people like me.
I now have to accept that we have lost out money albeit only six pounds ,there is however a principle at stake here and I now have to consider whether to continue my membership of ebay.

What a fantastic album!
I fell in love with it from the very first play and it hasn't been far from my CD player ever since.
There's songs here to pleased the hardened "Thatter" of yesteryear and new fans alike.

I was bought this for Christmas by my husband as I particularly wanted the track Rule the World. When I opened it I found no Rule the World!I did some research and found that there are actually 2 versions of this CD. The version I had been bought has only 12 tracks but the 2nd version not only has 15 tracks including Rule the World but a bonus DVD.
Needless to say I changed mine for the 2nd version and even found that it was cheaper!
Moral of the story... if you want the track Rule the World be careful that you check it is listed on the back of the CD you are buying.
This is a wonderful album, great in the car, and the boys have shown they can do just as well without Robbie. Of course my favourite track is Rule the World... gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it.

I love Patience and Shine but that is all I'm afraid. The album feels rushed - although Gary Barlow is a good song-writer I think his best songs have already been written.

I like most of the tracks Shine is my absolute fave.
I am not too keen on Mancunuan Way and Wooden Boat.. i keep thinking whoever is singing is gunna big up Portland Bill (the kids tv programme from the 80's)..

Very suprised i love this album SO much as i wasn't into Take That the first time around, well only Robbie!
This album is great, my daughters are big fans of Shine & Wooden Boat as im sure if you've heard it you'll know it mentions "Christine" & as my name is Christine they call it "my song"

take that beautiful world cd 2006.a beautifull cd with shine wich shon ,but i liked the final 2 tracks best very personal and haunting ,you actually feel really connected to take that when you listen to this cd because all the tracks are a very personal statement from each of them, lovely lovely lovely.
