I cant remember a time I didnt own a Floyd album... and I love the eary floyd when Syd was at his greatest. The Opel album however is certainly different. Dont expect Piper at the gates or Obscured by clouds... and certainly nothing like the newer Floyd albums by David Gilmour and Roger Waters.
Syd hit hard times and it shows in this album. Worth a listen though... but borrow it from a library first. Sorry Syd... I struggled with this one.
