Striptease (DVD 2000)

storyline was a bit poor acting was terrible by burt reynolds, but demi moore doing her stripping was out of this world i am very easy to please

Striptease staring the beautiful and sexy demi more in the title role and who had to shape up to get the part plays a single mum who just happens to have a ex husband whos on drugs and during the film the ex husband also uses the couples only child for his scams has he just happens to be a druggie and scam artist
so while does demi moore character end up in a strip club and playing a female stripper well because the character that she plays,ends up losing her job through her ex husband and so in order to play the bills and support her child has to take up such a job
i thought it was a well scripted film,well acted by the main actors and actress that include demi moore who must i must say gets well into her role as a singe mum/who just happens to strip for a living,burt reynolds plays a corrupt congressman whos gets obsesses by demi moore character etc

Worth the money to watch Demi Moore strip off - but the Burt Reynolds character was a bit over the top. The ending was a bit of slap stick comedy in a sugar factory. The book had a better story line throughout- ending in Demi's ex-husband being chopped into little pieces by a sugar cane harvester and Demi managing to have the State Senator answer a charge of attempted rape.
Carl Hiaassen's novels have a tongue in cheek/satirical edge which does not transfer easily to the screen/DVD

FILM WAS AVERAGE.THE FILM WAS ABOUT A GIRL WITH MONEY PROBLEMS AND WENT INTO STRIPTEASE..THE FILM ITSELF WAS AVERAGE LIKE I SAID BUT ON A NIGHT WHERE NOTHING ON TV ITS NOT BAD TO WATCH..
