Album Notes
Sprawling, epic double set from the self-proclaimed saviour of hip-hop follows 2002's 'God's Son'. On this explicitly political album he launches a vicious tirade on an oppressive system and espouses aspiration and positivity. Critics are hailing this release as some of his best ever work and as a strong contender for hip-hop album of the year. Includes the single 'Bridging The Gap'.

Reviews
Quite simply.... ONE of the BEST Rap albums of ALL-TIME
Review created: 10/05/08

This is true rapology. Science from Mr Nasir Jones. This album takes you on one of Nas's customary journeys into his melting pot mind, but this time we get some SICK production on tracks that will make this album stand the test of time in the list of All time greats.I can only think of Snoop Dogg (Doggy STyle), Dr Dre (The Chronic), Lauren Hill (The Miseducation Of), and to a degree Tupac Shakur (All eyez on me) where every track was a monster of lyrical content and track production.

The colaborations were great, especially, my favourite with Maxwell (No One)and the never to be forgotten duet with his Dad Olu Dara on "Bridging The Gap".

Go buy this album, if you haven't already as it WILL stand the test of time, I promise you.
