Starship Troopers 2 - Hero Of The Federation (DVD 2004)

This is a great movie. Its completely different from the first but all the things people complain about this movie make it good as far as i'm concerned. Its alot smaller than the first, with only about a dozen cast. It centres around a group of troopers who get stranded on an infested planet, they find an outpost and dig in, a heavy storm and bugs surround them, theres no way out on the ground. But apart from the bugs outside theres something inside picking them off one by one. It obviously a very small budget movie, but that gives a great claustrophobic feel and Richard Burgi is great as the corny tough guy captain Dax, a murderer who got tired with his superiors bad decisions and snapped. The only real problem is its a bit predictable, but most films are so thats ok.
