Album Notes A timely re-release of the modern pop-soul staple, this edition of Simply Red's 'Stars' is an exhaustive and illuminating collection. Originally released in 1991, 'Stars' was the first of the band's LPs not to feature any cover versions, and the one that really established Mick Hucknall as massive singing talent. It features the hit singles 'Stars' and 'Something Got Me Started' and is notable for its veiled political lyrics. Reviews  A must have for any Simply Red fan. This album was amazing when it was first released, but this version is just awsome, especially the dvd that comes with it, like I said in my review for the Home Limited Edition Cd, I really wanted it for Micks amazing live performance. Report this review My Simply RedWhat I like about it is that it covers some of the concerts that I have been to on the DVD part and it’s got some of the tracks on it done in a deferent style to which is good as you got them orngenal and new still on the same CD.
