Im a big fan of SG1. you need to watch these first to understand atlantis. i havent seen them all yet, but have watched a few on sky. and thought they were good. so thats why i have started collecting these. the dvds range from £40-£55 in the high street shops.

i like stargate so this is very good new season all new atlantis fun fast and a lots of action i like the story line that folows of from sg1, all so sg1 season 10 pops in on atlantis so good link with that as well

Superb series, cant wait to buy the next one. Almost as good as Stargate SG1 and nearly as good as Farscape.

I bought a copy of the stargate atlantis complete dvd season 1 as the offer on ebay was too good to be true as the seller was offering a deal of a life time as the item had not been opened or viewed in any way and it was also under the asking price from any high street store.
I chose stargate atlantis as i feel it is one of the more interesting shows on tv in which your attention span and imagination can run with as you sit and watch each episode, this series is now even more highly rated by myself due to the cancelation of its sister show stargate sg1.
In all i feel that myself and the seller came away happy from a smooth transaction.

When I first watched this I was a bit weary on the prospect of a spin off of Stargate SG1 which has been a awesome show and still is. When I saw the first episode I was hooked though. All my fears were quashed. I absolutely loved it. The humour of SG1 is in Atlantis and this first series is amazing compared to some opening series. No offence to SG1 but it had a rocky first year. Some really good episodes but some absolutely pants ones as well, not naming any names, *coughs* Brief Candle. My favourite episode of the season is definately "The Defiant One". It's such a good episode. I love it. And I love the series.

I have watched Stargate from when I first saw the movie at the cinema so am a big fan. I was looking forward to the new sister show Stargate Atlantis being aired on tv but did not expect it to win me over so much. I have to admit having watched all of the second season of Atlantis now I am a bigger fan of Atlantis than SG-1 now. Both are excellant shows but Atlantis is now my fave.

The item was described exactly as it was on Ebay, new and unopened, the reason for buying it was as a present for my wife.Buying it from new it was guaranteed to be undamaged.

The team have discovered the long lost city of Atlantis, long since deserted, and set up base camp in the city.
Excellent show, full of great story lines and action packed.
Better than Stargate SG1, I think.
Not to be missed.

Having read many reviews i came to understand that Atlantis was an excellent Stargate spin-off and as good as SG-1.I was nearly disappointed as, excluding the pilot, the first 4 episodes were predictably boring and full of American sentiment. However, the series greatly improves once your past the second disc... well worth the watch!

Bought this for my boyfriend who is a big stargate fan, he really enjoyed it so had to buy him the rest for xmas. A must for all stargate fans and sci-fi fans in general.

I often buy via ebay. It gives me choice and safety when buying over the net. I bought this item as I no longer have Sky tv yet wanted to follow the series. I was delighted to find this item sealed and packaged, proving that it was new and not used. I have only had one disappointment since buying from ebay and this was not their fault, but the seller's. I hope to continue for a long time.

Stargate SG1 - Series 1 - Complete (DVD), The first series been trying to get hold of this on here for a while. I am a big sci-fi fan and can not wait to get the rest of the sets (I own half now). This series was a big influence on me growing up and I can't believe how long ago it was that I saw it. I'll never forget looking forward to watching every week, then getting together with my mates to chat about it and Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks)of course.lol.

I bought this dvd as my brother likes sci-fi dvds and this is another to add to his collection.The story is about a team who get abandoned on Atlantis and don't have enough power to get back to earth.I bought it at a very good "buy it now" price. Well recommended.
