Stardust - Brilliant!

I was working too hard to take time out to see this at the cinema last year so when I saw the DVD for sale on EBay I kept bidding until I got it - and yes it was well worth my time... In fact I would say it was worth buying and watching just to see Michelle Pfeiffer's character aging - all of a sudden her bust just sags (Terrifying!!). Robert De Niro's character is brilliant too.
Wall is a village in Victorian England bordered by a wall - the wall is guarded 24 hours a day but once or twice someone has managed to trick their way past the guard..
Our hero, Tristan, is the result of one such passage, his father in England and his Mother the slave of a witch in the magical kingdom of Stormhold on the other side - he is determined to win the hand of the lovely Victoria and to do so sets off in search of a fallen star.
Our Hero is not the only one seeking the star, a group of witches are also looking for her and a troop of Royal brothers are looking for the jewel which our star, who actually turns out to be the beautiful Yvaine, is wearing - their adventures take them to the "stars" and back again. Will the witches get back their youth? Who will inherit the throne of Stormhold? And will anyone eat Yvaine's heart???
I'm not going to spoil your enjoyment - buy this film, it is great!!
