| Description Anakin Skywalker remains the Jedi apprentice of master Obi-Wan Kenobi. Battling dark forces that threaten the Republic, the duo quickly eliminates enemy Count Dooku, and Anakin proves as he states more than once that his powers have doubled. An intimidating warrior with superior knowledge of the Force, Anakin becomes the pet of Chancellor Palpatine, who is connected to the dark side. Meanwhile, Padme--the senator and former queen who is secretly married to Anakin--is pregnant, and Anakin is tortured by dreams of her dying in childbirth. With Obi-Wan on Utapau battling cyborg General Grievous, and Yoda joining the Wookiees of Kashyyyk, the sage warnings of the Jedi council go unheard by Anakin. His moodiness and glowering are a clear precursor to his inevitable, terrifying metamorphosis into Darth Vader, the dark leader of the evil Empire who haunts the remainder of the series.

Not what I expected at all, in fact I think we where all so excited about seeing it ,and how we had heard how fantastic it was, that in the end it just didn't have enough to give, no real climax, pretty dull in places. Report this review  a must for .. most of the family.3 of 7 people found this review helpful. undoubtly ,as a star wars fan, i bought this dvd without question. i would be lying, and a rubbish fan, if i said it wasnt a good film. this film has to be the best out of episode 1, 2 and 3, but theres no point in even comparing it to the original trilogy, they are so different in many ways and yet still really good, i can only compare to the previous 2 films. throught this film the special effects are better than ive ever seen them, the first 5 minutes blew me away and i was almost fallin off my seat as i felt i was flying through space. this is true all throught this film. also the directions cant be critisised thanks to the legendary George Lucas. the storyline is perfectly clear perhaps thanks to the fact that i know where it left off and where it was going to finish but this doesnt keep out any surprises in this film shown mainly by the great battle scenes. this film is for most of the family, i wouldnt agree with its rating of "12" but i would give it a PG as younger children may be scared by the fictional lifeforms and battle scenes. Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you but i am just out of hospital. Iordered them for my son and he could not reply as he does not know how to use ebay. He is absolutely delighted with the dvd as he has most of them but they are on videos and now he wants them all in dvd's. so hopefully this should keep him quite for another while until another phase comes along. As i said at the beginning i hope i am doing the feedbak ok as it has been so long from i used ebay that the feedback system has all changed.
