Album Notes
This is a Hyper CD, which contains both regular tracks and also provides a link to the artist's website with the help of a web browser.Metallica: James Hetfield (vocals, guitar); Kirk Hammett (guitar); Rob Trujillo (bass); Lars Ulrich (drums).Additional personnel: Bob Rock (bass).Recorded at HQ, San Rafael, California between May 2002 and April 2003.While LOAD and its sequel RELOAD, Metallica's final studio offerings of the '90s, found the band expanding their approach in what fans called "maturation" and detractors called "mellowing out," the band's first album of the 21st century is a powerful retrenchment and call-to-arms for the heavy metal faithful. Not since the bygone days of MASTER OF PUPPETS (and perhaps not even then) has Metallica sounded this furiously unrelenting. There's virtually no letup from the frenetic musical mayhem of the appropriately titled ST. ANGER, and nary a power ballad in sight, as the guitars blare and drums rage from one gut-assaulting tune into the next at a breakneck pace. One is reminded of the pure sonic fury of vintage Motorhead, the only band before Metallica to convincingly combine metal tonalities with punk energy. The brilliantly clear production is a blessing that maximizes every bone-crunching riff and jackhammer drum hit for an intensified sucker-punch that will leave even longtime fans reeling with the sheer heaviness of it all. ST. ANGER is surely one of the most effective metal albums of the early '00s, and a bracing lesson for all the nu-metal brats on how it's meant to be done.

  Experimental Nearly Works Perfectly
Review created: 30/07/08

For me it was good too see Metallica being experimental and trying to change things for this album. The album is their attempt to play heavier music again. With some insanely brilliant songs this is a brilliant album.

Only bad points are a weird studio sound, and disapointing vocal recording sound in some of the songs. The songs themselves i feel are a success, good too see such a huge band taking a risk, going back to the drawing board and coming up with something new.

Review of Metallica - St. Anger [Digipack] [2003]
Review created: 09/03/08

I bought this album because I was hooked on a couple of the songs, after watching the "Some Kind Of Monster" movie documentary. I love all of the songs, barring "All Within My Hands" which was a little too long for me. I've heard a lot of people put this album down because it doesn't sound professional, but they mustn't understand that that's the whole point! It's supposed to sound like a garage band. Frantic kicks the whole thing off and has great vocal harmonies and a lot of power, followed by St. Anger which continues the power, although it is about 7 minutes it doesn't drag on at all. The same goes for Some Kind Of Monster which rules. I was a little surprised with "Invisible Kid" as, I first heard it and said "Oh, it's out of tune and everything!!" but it didn't matter, it was stuck in my head all of the next day.

All in all, a great album despite all the bad reviews.

The Free iPhone Guide

To get yourself a free iPhone all you have to do is follow the 3 easy steps:

Step 1 : Sign up for a free iPhone
Sign up at the link below to get your free iPhone. We recommend this free iPhone site because it's been TRIED and TESTED to work.

http://kudosnetwork.co.uk/?ref=174 (copy and paste into browser)

You can choose other prizes like free consoles from this site too! Make sure you use a real email address. Use your real details when you sign up so that the company knows where to send your iPhone! Remember that they have been proven legitimate, so will send you your free iPhone if you do everything legitimately!

Step 2 : Try an advertiser's offer
Basically all you need to do in this step is complete one of the offers, this is where the freebie site make their money, if you complete an offer then the freebie site will recieve commission for it. So if you complete Coral which will only cost you £5 to complete, the freebie site gets £25 from Coral. The two best offers are Lovefilm Free DVD rental (rent two DVD's, keep them for about 2 days, send them back and then cancel the trial) and Coral (bet £5 on a sport). I would reccommend you do Coral as it credits in an hour and is really simple to do, Lovefilm however can become complicated and takes up to 2 weeks to credit! You can also try one of the other offers, most are gambling offers. Don't skip this step! You must complete this step to get your free iPhone!

Step 3 : Refer some friends
This part is a lot easier than it seems, especially now with free iPhone sites getting so popular. There's lots of people online who want a free iPhone too, so start referring them! You only need to get a few signups before you'll be finished. You can ask your friends or your online buddies. I already got a free PS3, Wii, and XBOX Elite without even having to ask my friends for help - there's lots of people online who want a free iPhone like you! One of the easiest ways to get a referral is to do a favour for a friend and ask them to sign up in return. That way, you both can get a free iPhone!

Basic rules
Don't break these rules! This is the only reason that you won't get your free iPhone, so make sure you follow these rules!

- One account per household - don't use a public computer to sign up!
- Use real information - this is a proven legitimate site and they will not give out your information.
- Only complete each offer once! You cannot complete the same offer again, even for different freebies.
- Don't try to cheat the system. This site has been proven legitimate, and they will catch you if you try to cheat. If you do everything legitimately, by following this guide, you will get a free iPhone!

Thats all, just follow my guide and you will have your free iPhone in no time.

Thank you.
