Spooks - Series 4 - Complete (DVD)

Now what have we come to expect from Spooks? Good acting, good direction, well written plots and scripts, excellent scores with non-stop action. Well, I am happy to say that season 4 is no exception.

The character Adam Carter has well and truly settled in the shoes of Tom Quinn is now only a distant memory. As is Zoe and apart from the team being shattered at the start of the series following Danny’s death, they soon move on as during his funeral they realise that terrorism stops for no man. A bomb blast rips through central London heralding the start of a terror campaign and the beginning of Spooks Series 4.

Again no doubt another excellent series however, sometimes I couldn’t help feeling we have been to some of these places before albeit with different characters.

One thing the writers are not afraid of doing and that is to pluck current news headlines and write them into an intriguing Spooks storyline.

Series highlights include the recruitment of a new Spook; the death of an old Spook sees an emotional plunge for Adam. Harry is Stacked and Shot at again and Adam is shot and left for dead when an infamous legend Spook goes rouge in an effort to shed the light on the death of Princess Diana.

i decided to bay as i have all 3 series so it was the right thing to do i enjoyed all the episodes in the series long may it continie keep up the good work.

bought a 50p single dvd at a car boot showing the first episode of spooks, now fully hooked again and have purchased the full series 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 now looking for 6.

As always I love this items as I love Spooks. However this was Spooks "difficult" season as 3 of the main characters from the first 3 seasons have moved on. Also I much preferred the character of Adam Carter once his wife was out of the picture (can't say too much more in case you don't know what happens) and so for me this series isn't the best but you need to watch it for continuity. Love the fact that this is Jo's intro series and that she has long hair - very different from how she looks now in the TV series. Also makes me laugh the way Adam recruits her into MI5 with the whole "its a funky way to make a living" line - instead of the rather more honest "we need someone to replace my mate Danny who has just died in the line of duty". So in summary - watch it for continuity but now as good as the other series (s)

Not the best series but still highly watchable. Slightly too much polotics and not enough action, bit like Gordon Brown I guess!

i spotted this it on ebay clearly marked spooks series 4 dvd in the buy now option so i bought it only to find that it was infact info telling me to buy it from hmv. how can sellers be able to get away with praying on fellow ebay users with false info its an outrage and something needs to be done to prevent people like this doing this to anyone else. i have found ebay to be an extremely fast, safe and easy way of buying things but its just sellers like this one that leave a bad taste in your mouth. please please ebay look into this and make sure sellers have to clearly mark whether they infact have the product to sell that they are advertising. Needless to say thought i still find ebay the best way to get all my shopping needs ebay is fantastic!!!!

Spooks is really one of the best TV series in the world ever made, exciting and insighting, with a brilliant cast and brilliant plots series four is one of the best so far.

Fantastic series. One of the best British made series for a long long time.

I have series 1,2 and 3 I loved the series on TV but now I can rewatch in my own time. I love spy and espionage films ( big James Bond fan )No dislikes at all.Brilliant action and great up todate storylines.Great actors.Excellant location work mixing with what seems like general public.Tells you how it is all done.
