Spooks - Series 2 - Complete (DVD 2004)

After watching series 6, and in the absence of 24 returning to the screens for the next series I was in need of a little "spy fix".
Some disagree but I personally feel that SPOOKS is a great british alternative to 24...
I have been buying up the old series as had forgotten all the previous storylines...I have not been disappointed at all !
I think it's a great, an exciting, but easy to watch programme that ticks all the boxes for me..(not least because occasionally all of Mr Rupert Penry-Jones' clothes fall off...always worth waiting for !)

Really good, was keen to see previous series after watching latest on BBC. Fantastic, watch whole series over two days.

I absolutely adore the Spooks series and really looked forward to watching them again on DVD, but every time you want to watch the dvd you have to go throught the rigmarole of finding the bloody episode you want - it did not help with this series that the episodes 1&2 were on disk 2 and episodes 2&3 on disk 1. So comeon guys we love watching spys not going through the frustration of trying to be one.

I like the storylines in general. There's always something different in every episode; not the same old plots. Some things are believeable considering the threats in everyday life.
Only negative: could improve the actors a bit, they have no personality (Tom Quinn) and are boring & not frightening (Zoe).
Other than that, very good show seen 3 seasons so far.

This is a fab series, you never know quite what is going to happen next. Can have you on the edge of your seat or in floods of tears. Just as good as series 1.

The acting is suberb and the storylines are very believable.

Well worth watching/buying if you get the chance.

it is also timeless so if you watch it again in a few years it will still be as good!

Always fine acting and very up to date 5 years later!It is so good to see Peter Firth holding the team together after such a long acting career.The plots are sometimes a little over the top but the music generates good atmosphere.

Couldn't wait to see series 2 on dvd after watching the first series. Series 2 doesn't disappoint with more nail biting moments and excellent story lines. Highly recommended to any spooks fan!!

bought a 50p single dvd at a car boot showing the first episode of spooks, now fully hooked again and have purchased the full series 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 now looking for 6.

Great to watch if missed earlier series all the suspense that you would expect in Spooks and great acting

I love this series even though I've seen them all on television,it's great to be able to watch them again,whenever I want to.The acting is superb and the stories are so beleivable. I would recommend these DVD's to anyone that likes a taste of excitement and almost reality.

Review? I might write one if I received it! The seller was a THIEF and I had to get a refund from Paypal. Nice, considering it was for a Christmas gift, I ordered it on 28 November and 2 weeks later it was too late for me to do anything about it - being hard up (like a lot of people at the moment) it meant I couldn't buy a replacement gift and the person it was meant for had to do without until I got the refund at the end of December. What a great Christmas!

Very Good. Really want to see the third series now lol. Didn't like the ending though, but I won't spoil it by telling lol.

I now have the first three series and will be buying the forth from ebay shortly.This program is brilliant the cast in all episodes were great and storylines were very realistic.I missed a couple of episodes in each series and wanted to watch them so purchased them from ebay.Regards Noel
