Spider-Man Trilogy (DVD)

my kids and i like the spiderman films, we are fans. the 3 in one is good because the are all kept together. and its a special pack.

3 great films. action and enjoyable storylines. just take your brain out, leave it on the side and enjoy.

I love the Spider-Man movies. They are great fun, provide cracking entertainment and will stand the test of time. Its not all perfect though. Spider-Man 3, although not as bad as some would say, isn't quite as good as its siblings.

Stan Lee and Steve Ditko have given us something like 40 yrs of storytelling so the scripts were always going to be good. The actors were all perfectly cast, the production values absolutely first rate and in the hands of the very capable Sam Raimi things were always going to be good. (If you think these films were a fluke, check out Drag Me To Hell. Can this guy put together a film or what?)

This is bubble-gum entertainment: You can pick 'em up, watch 'em a little, put 'em down to watch 'em again a little later. These films aren't as absorbing as say, Shawshank Redemption, The Mist or No Country For Old Men where you have to watch them from start to finish. Spidey's 1, 2 and 3 are very much moving versions of their comic-book counterparts.

I bought them on Blu because Blu's the best around at the moment and I have a half decent system. If your system is pretty good, you could do a lot worse with your £25.00 than spending it on these classics.

I had watched Spider-man1 and my family had enjoyed it very much, so i decided to hire out 2 & 3 as well, but before i did i looked on ebay, and i found out that i could buy the trilogy for about £2.00 inc p&p More than it would have cost in hire fees and they were mine to keep

My husband just recently got a blu ray player so he is starting to get blu ray dvds and mentioned he wanted the spiderman trilogy but i didnt want to pay forty or fifty pound for it like it is in some shops. so i thought i would try ebay, cant wait to see his face christmas morning he will be well chuffed

This was the first item I have purchased from ebay, and was very dubious about ebay (not the seller), but with the help of this seller I have gained great confidence, and have purchased several items since.
The goods arrived and when I opened them they were in great condition, (even had the flyers inside that come with DVD's when bought from new!)
Thanks for this my son will be over the moon when he opens it for his birthday.

THIS EBAYER SELLER IS REALLY GOOD AT SELLING DVDS I HAVE BEEN BUYING OFF HIM FOR AN WHILE NOW AND HE IS 100 PER CENT PERFECT VERY TIME. THE DVD BOX SET ARRIVED IN GOOD CONDITION AND SEALED WHICH WAS PERFECT AS IT WAS FOR AN PRESENT THAT SOMEONE IN MY FAMILY HAS BEEN LOOKING TO GET FOR AGESSO WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE DVD SET AND WE WILL BE BUYING MORE IN THE FUTURE OFF THIS EBAYER SELLER

I am a big Sam Rami fan - I love his sense of humour and little quirks/inter-textual references he sneaks in to all his works. But the Spider-man trilogy is a mixed bag for me. For kids it is great - fun action and stunts, bright colours and even a good sense of morality. For everyone else...

The first film is amazing - absolutely spot on in every way. Its not exactly the same as the comic but close enough not to annoy old fans or alienate new ones. Its easily accessable, fun, lively, well acted (the casting all round was brilliant) great CGI and effects... I cant see any flaws in this film at all...

The second film is also pretty great - it has a lot of action - its a bit sillier than the first one but then again making a character called Dr Octopus able to be taken seriously was never going to easy - This film was great fun and did explore more depth to the characters and have mroe than just action (but also some of that too) - also recommended.

The third film was a major let down - the characters were not well realised - the action was so large scale and fast paced it got confusing - they spoiled one of the best dark plotlines by misusing venom (please please make a venome/carnage spinoff movie! A good one!) and generally it was all bright lights and no substance. The CG was amazing and its enough to keep kids happy but there really isnt the depth of the other films. Spidey as an evil emo was pretty funny but really jarred with the rest of the film. The best part is Bruce Cambell's cameo as a waiter - its pure comic genius, more monty python than anything else but the film is almost worth watching just for that clip.

This trilogy set is basically a cool box with the 2 disk editions of each film - making it great value for money as you get all the extras and bonus features in there as well as the actual films themselves - and the box looks cool too.

If I were a kid I would give this 5/5 but as an adult the third film looses it a point and its 4/5.

My 3 years old son love the spiderman. Excellent 3 DVD with all extras!
Now he wants Spiderman clothes, bikes, umbrella, everything!

Hours of fun with kids watching our favourite superhero on DVD. We had wore out the tape on our video of Spiderman 1 so we took the plunge on the trilogy DVD set. Fantastic!

If you loved the first one then you will love all 3. Full of action and great effects. A real must see set of films and a great addition to any film collection.

One of the best Trilogies I have yet to come across. The Trilogy is a great idea for any Spiderman fan. Packed in a nice box it includes all the Spiderman films. 1,2 & 3. They are all the 2 disk editions, which is fantastic! 6 dvd's in total.

I bought this off ebay great buy i loved all the films and i now have them all in one pack.
Cant wait to see if they bring out another but then ill have to buy another pack :).

Excellent films alround, however no good for the children.Can not understand why they put spider-man on lots of young childrens toys/clothes/etc. My four yr old loves him, but there is no way we would let him watch it. However great films for the over 12s plus. My little fellow is going to have to wait eight yrs!
