A GREAT FAMILY FILM. No family should be without this film - great for singing along! Wonderful, wholesome entertainment - your children will love it (almost as much as you!)

as a musical its one of the best,i decided to buy it as its one of my wife favret films plus it gets me browny points. i dont dislike it but im not one for musicals.

Have always adored it, since it was first produced. Recently went on a Sound of Music tour whilst staying in Salzburg. Then ordered this dvd. It meant so much more, having visited.

I have watched this film I don't know how many times since I was a little girl, It is a classic film, I brought this film to add to my classic collection. Excellent Film.

a wonderful musical film with lovely children and a dream come true nanny that teaches the kids to be happy,sing and what love is about as their father goes away alot and has forgotten how to laugh,sing and be happy.great film and catchy songs.my children loved it and kept them quiet for 1 and half hours.

Easy to watch film, good music and excellent performances from Julie Andrews and Christopher Plumber

Having fallen in love with this film as a very young child sitting on my Grandmothers knee, it was the best 18th birthday present when I received the 25th (Silver) anniversary video (that makes me sound old). However, I have watched this film about pain, love, war, discrimination, family, strength, social classes and success, almost every year since my Grandmother passed away. Nevetheless, having got married to a wife who hates musicals, the video seemed to have disappeared!!! Thank God for ebay & DVD's!!!
The film is a feel good film (although I seem to cry everytime I watch it!) with the songs of an era all wrapped up in a setting to die for.
If you like films such as 'My Fair Lady' this is a must have!

I brought The Sound of Music DVD for my 7yr old daughter, as i have always enjoyed the film and thought she would also enjoy it. I am pleased to say that she was extreemly pleased and loves the songs and music. She loves 'singing' the songs and i now think it should be called The 'whail' of music.

AN ALL TIME CLASSIC, STILL KEEPS YOU WATCHING DESPITE BEING 41 YEARS OLD. IF YOU LIKE CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, MARY POPPINS ETC YOU'LL LOVE THIS.

It's very hard to dislike the Sound of Music, it has everything :- good storyline, great songs, brilliant actors, fantastic scenery and no swearing - what more could you want ?

After watching Toy Story for the nth time with our toddler, we decided that it was about time to introduce him to something more musical. He loved it! Now he just loves to sing "doughh-a-dear, a feemale dear!"
Good fun for the whole family

Everyone knows the film, so that doesn't need reviewing - it's a classic! The dvd was great value as it retails for double the purchased price. Product as described, and will soon have you singing along to those well known songs! Thanks for the bargain

Fantastic Musical as good today as it was when it first came out. A must see movie. My daughter and I watched it and the next day we were singing along with the songs. Addictive

i bought it because i love the film and only had it on video,so decided to buy on dvd, and for the price with no postage charges was a bargain

The quality of the DVD was excellent. It looked exactly like the picture. I decided to buy from here because this supplier had very good reviews. And lived up to those expectations. The quality was excellent. My only fault I could find was that it took longer than I expected to arrive, but no specific date had been arranged so it was not a large problem.

i bought this for my niece & it did say it was brand new.but yet it was not wraped in cellaphane like a new . i did msg the seller with no ans. dvd itself was alright.

I bought this DVD cause I have a little son and he really loves watching it. Every time we turn it on, he sits and watches till the end.
And my wife and I enjoys watching it too.
