Having watched Season 1, I was totally hooked; nothing was going to prevent me from getting the complete collection
The main plot of Series 6 (Part 2) sees Phil Leotartdo forcing Tony Soprano into a confrontation with the New York Family; the unthinkable happens, ‘mob war’.
Having bought Season 6 (Part 1) thinking it was the complete series, I was annoyed at having to buy this boxset to watch the conclusion.
As with part 1, I felt the scripts were not as tight as the previous series (running out of ideas?); the sub plots were weak and did not always tie in to the previous material or seem to go anywhere.
However I would still recommend that you watch it, as some of the effects of the gangland slayings are horrifically realistic. And obviously if you have been following the series there is no choice but to buy it, so the conclusion can be seen
If you are already familiar with the film, and are about to add it to your personal collection, consider buying the Complete Boxset Seasons 1 to 7, it may be more cost effective.

I Have loved watching the Sopranos from the very beginning. Top class Acting from the whole cast and great writing. David Chase and co. have made one of the best TV dramas ever. i hope they could make one last episode to really tie it all together. loved the show. will miss it. one of a kind.

i thought the whole series of the sopranos was brilliant the actors , music ,and the locations created a perfect atmosphere. on the whole if this is ever surpassed i shall be very suprised

Everything about the series was fantastic, theres so many twist and turns in the final set and at no stage did I guess all the many avenues the script took me.
The end is brilliant and a must watch, everyone who was part of the series should be very proud, as this is up there with the very best of the modern ganster genre, Goodfellas, Casino and dare I say it "the Godfather"
So ! sit back and enjoy the experience, I certainly did.

Just what is left to say about this entire series? I have all 7 boxed sets now and it would take some dire crisis for me to consider parting with them.
The entire series never slackened pace in either storylines or acting standards, the number of awards the series has collected bears testament to that.
Highly recommended, 5*

I have purchased all the other series and couldn't wait for this to come out on DVD. These are perfect to watch one a night at 45 minutes. Fantastic climax to the whole series, just wish it didn't have to end here, I dont know I am going to watch now

I would have loved to have RECEIVED it. This went through a Paypal dispute which I won. I would love to know that the people who do not come up with the goods get penalized ie written off from having the privilege of using Paypal or even struck off from ebay. I will never know what happened to my seller as I have not received feedback... but I have received my money back

I was pleased with this the final installment of the Sopranos, having watched the 1st part of the last series I was left feeling that we had already seen the best that the Sopranos could offer and it was to go out on an unjustifiable low! It wasn't to be. I was hooked and loved both the plot and sub plots - that almost overbalance the main plot keeping you captivated and putting those DVD's in the machine till the very end! I was left at the end dismayed, dismayed at the lack of conclusion and totally dismayed that this was the end. This series offers everything you have come to expect from the Sopranos, amazing, unforgettable story lines, colourful characters, amazing direction and not to mention violence mixed with that twisted dark humour. Why oh why has it all come to an end?

So gutted to have to watch the final episodes - but they were everything we had hoped for, and more! Highlights include Tony and Chris's roadtrip, Doctor Melfi's realisation that she may not be able to change her client for the better, and the war between the Families coming to a head.
The final episode, rather excitingly, leaves it open for a continuation. We live in hope!
