This TV may seem like a good bargain but please look around before you bid. Comet have thys set on special offer for £799 new. I have one of these sets which is now 18 months old, I have had no trouble with it until now, The Bulb is which inside is now starting to fail. To replace the bulb will cost aprox £230. Looking on the bright side though, they reckon renewing the bulb is like having a new television. (for 18 months or so). My advice is go for an LCD flatscreen instead of an LCD projection.

Also had this TV for 18 months with no problems unlike the other reviewer.

A little confused by his comment on bulbs costing £230,if you look on the well known auction site eBay,you will see new bulbs for approx £75.

LCDs and Plasma screens also have issues but cost a lot lot more to repair when they go wrong.

Also rear projection does not have the motion blur seen on the LCDs and Plasma screen, also no screen burn in problems.
