Excellent Camcorder, Image Quality is great, no more tearing of the screen or wobbly Audio what you get from Video Tape, you get instant play back from the DVD, Touch Screen, Night Vision ( that is spooky !) think of sitting in complete darkness, yet this Camcorder can see in the dark with Infar-Red, really freaks your friends out when they see the playback( ideal for them Most Haunted geeks)
Finalize the DVD's from the Camcorder and then you just pop it a DVD Player.
Small 8CM Discs keep the size the Camera down, buy DVD RW Double Sided which you can record and format over and over,, Great !!
Fast recharge on the battery.

This is MUCH better than my Digital-8 camcorder, and transferring footage to my editing suit will prove easier and quicker. It's small, comfortable to hold, has quite a few features and even manages to look nice.

The sound and picture quality are both great, and the image stabiliser works a treat! The nightshot mode is clear and works well, you dont hear the disk recording, (there's always been a slight 'whirring' noise with my previous camcorders,) and you'd be hard pressed to find a comparable quality camcorder at a similar price.

Pros: Good quality, light, lots of features.

Cons: DVDs only store 30 mins of footage...(but hardly a problem) and it can take a while to start up with a new disk and the quick-start feature off.
