Sony Handycam DCR-DVD306 Camcorder

I think the size of the 306E is great the picture quality is fantastic. It is easy to use with most of the controls in the right place although I find it hard to access the record/pause button whilst filming. The setting up of the 306E was straight forward as you would expect with a Sony product. Over all a compact well built camcorder.

This is a good camera but have trouble finding batteries for it have bought a NP-Fh70 fo it but the camera won't take it says it not the right battery don't know why also bought the charger and have wasted my money there otherwise vey happy with it.Had the sony mini dv berore which was cassetts which was also excellent but wanted the convenience of a DVD.can find loads of batteries for that one is this one perhaps going of the market .would really like a response to that question please.

Battery had to be replaced before it would charge/work ( done immediately by seller) Seems very complicated to start with but, with use, things drop into place. Actual reproduction is superb making it very good for wildlife filming. All in all a good buy.

I love the handycam because it is so easy to use and small enough to carry around. Have chosen the 306 as an upgrade to the 205 we currently have becuase it allows you to link up to the computer so videos can be edited.

I recently spent a week in Tokyo and couldn't help myself in the electronic shopping area. I discovered the Sony camcorders, which I have always appreciated and then saw this easy to use DVD camcorder. I like the fact that I can simply use DVDs (rather than tapes and the latest technology, i.e. hard drives which are simply too cumbersome / heavy on a practical level). I also appreciate the easy menu facilities and light weight. Decided not to purchase first generation technology but to look on ebay on my return and, delighted with the end product.

good price birthday present for prtner lots of information helpful ,quick delivery easy to hold you obviously need to buy memory stick and discs as they come without but at such a bargain you cant complain
