Sony Handycam® DCR-DVD105 DVD Camcorder

Absolutely fab little handycam!Has lots of features including a touch screen and is idiot proof-well it must be coz even i can use it!I love the fact that it takes good quality photos as well as films!Another good thing is that you can pick up the dvds for it from the pound shop lol!Easy to use,good quality for home video,very light weight and dinky so ideal for days out,im lovin it!

I decided to buy this camcorder purely because we have never owned one and now the kids are getting a bit older decided before they get too old we would like to capture their youth for later viewing.
I did not know what make, model etc to buy but decided to go for a Sony as they are a trusted name in most electrical equipment departments and seem to make reliable goods.
This particular one came up for sale on ebay and was as new due to only being used a couple of times, i think the seller actually said around 10 minutes use, and it looked good from the photos.
It seemed to have exactly what i wanted, it was dvd format so i could play straight onto tv using a dvd player or make into a longer film if required and it seemed to be user friendly, again something i desperately wanted as i had never used one before.
I have to say it did exactly what it said on the tin, it is easy to use, has everything i need and more, and is so small it is very compact, i would definitely recommend buying one of these if you are looking for a good all round dvd camcorder that you can just pick up and use, and, the best thing of all was that it only cost me just over £100 and was exactly as described if not better, it looks like it has just come straight from a shop.
I have taken some footage of the kids and we are off this weekend to a Haven site for my lads birthday so more footage is expected.
Well worth the money!

i recently visited new york for a holiday and the sony handycam dcr dvd105 camcorder was fantastic, it is so easy to use, it is small and lightweight you forget your carrying it, it focusus so quickly when zooming in on objects and once you have formatted the disc when it is full you just stick it in the dvd player and watch your holiday back in clear and crisp colours its that easy, i would recommend this camera to anyone, and of course i saved so much buying it on ebay.
