Sony HT-IS100 Theater System

I bought this as my passive sub woofer had died and my system needed updating anyway. I had the speakers flatwired in so didn't want to buy the whole kit at >£400 and this seemed a good work around. I've also found Sony to be quality in my purchase history.
I love the quality of the sound but shot myself in the foot as it doesn't come with a built in Remote Commander Receiver unit. (The seller had clearly stated I would get the unit and nothing else so no fault of theirs, just a bad assumption on my part) I've got the remote control but the unit can't receive the signal from it without this additional part which needless to say I can't find anywhere for a reasonable price. Even so, the inconvenience of having to get up to change input and volume is negated by the quality of the equipment for surround sound experience. (And I'm old enough to remember the days before remote controls so it's a little nostalgic.)
