Sony Ericsson Walkman W910i Cell Phone

Slim design and very light with a large outter display which is stunning, and a 2 mega pixel camera. But the main selling point of the phone is the new walkman music player which is spot on,it now features shake control...hold the walkman key and shake the phone to skip songs and even shuffle the songs on the phone, A number of music formats are supported and the bundled earphones sound great,the phone comes with a 1GB m2 memory card so you can store music and pictures,this phone supports 3G servives video calling etc but also supports picture and video messaging as well as mobile internet..ALL IN ALL A GREAT PHONE BUT ONLY LET DOWN BY THE CAMERA,BUT NO PHONE IS PERFECT.

I've always loved sony ericsson phones and my last one was a complete change, went with samsung. What a mistake!! Bought my 910i last week and its like coming home!
This is a gorgeous phone, looks really sleek and stylish and the features it has are awesome. I love listening to music and this has to be the best around excellent quality sound.
If I had to critisize it, it would be the keys - they are small and you have to hit them just right when texting, apart from that I absolutely love it!!
Would definitely reccommend it!

I LIKE THAT IT HAS SHAKE CONTROL BETTER CONTROL OF GAMES BY THE PHONE AND NOT THE BUTTONS, THINGS I DON'T LIKE THE BATTERY LIFE IS SHORT.

I decided to buy this phone as I needed a phone until November when I will be able to get a contract phone.

The phone itself is well designed as you may see in pictures on eBay or Sony Ericsson's website. The phone feels heavy in a good way, not bulky but you can tell it's not cheap and plasticky like some other slider phones.

The large screen has a high resolution and is easy on the eyes yet readable in bright light, it has a light sensor which changes screen brightness according to ambient light which reduces eye strain at night or in other dark situations.

The camera is of a good quality for a 2 megapixel sensor, better than some models but the lack of auto-focus it a bit of a draw back. This only really matters if you take lots of photos which you'd like to print, otherwise it's generally good, performing better in bright light as the camera has no flash or LED light. Reviewing pictures on the screen of the phone they appear in good quality.

Sound quality of the walkman player through headphones is excellent for MP3s at 128kb/s (the average / standard) but the eAAC format sound quality is poor at low bit rates, this isn't the phone's fault however, just don't convert all your music to eAAC before you try just listening to one or two tracks encoded in the format.

I and other people have experienced the phone freezing at some point, but I have used Sony Ericsson update service (software included on the CD in the phone package or available from Sony Ericsson's website) to update the phone software and this appears to have solved the problem.

Overall I am very pleased with the phone, the camera is the only drawback but this will only annoy people who demand high quality pictures as it's generally a good camera.

i only seem to get on with sony ericsson phones. i love the music and picture quilty is really good. i do recommed this phone.

The Sony Ericsson W910i is a superslim slide phone, measuring just 12.5mm thick (slimmer than the Samsung D900.) It's a lovely looking phone with a tapered bottom edge and a superslim profile. The W910i wears its Walkman credentials on its sleeve, with music controls featured prominently when the slide is closed. Fortunately SE have given the W910i am easy-to-use circular navigational key, not the dreaded joystick that appears on some of their models. The screen is large, bright and high resolution (240 x 320 pixels) and the menus are clear and simple to navigate. The slide opens smoothly to reveal the full keypad below. Sony Ericsson have got a funny thing going on with keypads at the moment. With each new phone we find a new style of keypad, some with tiny "designer" buttons, others with larger, more conventional ones. The W910i has larger, flatter keys than most, but it still isn't as easy to use as many rival phones. It's high time that SE got their act together with the keypad issue. Anyway, the W910i doesn't have the fastest keypad for texting, but it's not the worst.

i love mp3 on it it got a1 speakers and headphones.only thing to dislike about it is the surface on the facia,which alwayes get screched no matter how careful you are.they could have made it bit better.

Goods delivered quickly, first without charger, which was delivered two days later, but all work ok, just missing earpiece.

Great phone with great features. Always been a Nokia person but this phone has changed that (once I get used to it, lol)..... Only downside is battery life is not the best.

I brought this phone because It sounded pretty awesome with the ol' shake to change the track feature but it's pretty hard to work. I love it though. I got the bronze one and it's so funky. Good quality music and good stoage. I recomend this phone!

Ebay asked me to write a review on this mobile. Here it is. What a crap mobile worse one I have ever had. It wouldn't switch on and is prone to this common fault. Checkout Sony's own site it tries to tell you about the common fault, and how to rectify, but it does not work.
Below poor but there is not a rating. I am not allowed to use bad language so you'll after guess what i'm thinking.

purchased a w910i last week and was very impressed with it. In the other review it makes the phone look bad and it simply is not! The shake control works exceedingly well and i dont know how the other reviewer finds it hard to flick it right. The gaming is truly spectacular and the music player absolutely outstanding.Add to this the fact that its looks are awesome. I dont find the texting difficult, even with my fairly big fingers. When i showed it to my friends they were amazed!!
The camera is fairly basic but it is sufficient for my uses.

In my opinion this phone is simply the best of the best and i would deffinately reccomend purchasing it.

Overall this phone is very good. The camera is definately average but this is a Walkman phone, if you want a proper camera then by the Sony Ericsson K850i. The screen is bright and clear. The Walkman music player is very good and there are plenty of other useful features too. There a quite a few different themes to choose from instead of the usual slight variations of the same one. Build quality is prety good and should last a long time but not built as well as say the Nokia 6500 Slide. The loudspeaker does sound a bit rubbish and the call volume is very low but is loud when used with the hands-free headset. The phone does look great and is thin and light. My advice is buy it.

I BOUGHT THIS PHONE FOR MY WIFE FOR HER CHRISTMAS AS SHE ALWAYS WANTED A SLIDER PHONE. I HAVE ALWAYS OWNED A SONY ERICSSON PHONE AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS THEM AND WAS ABLE TO BUY THIS ONE ON EBAY AT A GOOD PRICE. THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS ONE SEEMS TO BE THAT THE BATTERY DISCHARGES EASILY WITH LIGHT USE.

The phone itself is extremely light and aesthetically very very good. Games and music play excellently and videos are similarly rich looking when played.

Could do with a better camera, but this phone was designed primarily as a music/ video phone as opposed to a camera phone (such as the cybershot series of phones).

The battery life is a similar plus, with 20 odd hours music play time and something like 6 hours voice call time.

The tilt function is the most useful though, using motion sensors to switch track or steer during games.

Was looking to buy as xmas present. Opened xmas day item is faulty. Very unhappy about this how do i report the seller?
