Sony Ericsson W800i Cell Phone

If in any doubts about this phone then lose them because this phone is brilliant and well worth the money ......I have all sorts of makes and models and nothing compares with the W800i. ... except maybe the Sony K750I.....

I would recomend this phone to anyone. this is a fantastic phone it does everything and much more iv had one for more than a year and is still great easy file transfer jus drag and drop and mine just survived a 14ft drop straight on concreate and it still is in perferct working order minus a few scratches as you can imagine

i had one of this phones when they where first released and have used it every day with out a single problem, the 512 card holds more then enough music to keep u entertained. why carry an phone then an mp3 player when this does the lot. i have since upgraded from the w800 to the k800 and hated it, used my k800 for a week then went straight back to the w800i i now have the w880i and its better in some areas but still falls very short of the w800

brilliant phone and nothing else like it. Walkman and phone in one so no need to carry around an ipod or an mp3 as this has it all

Connectivity: Bluetooth, USB, Infra-red - data cable is also included. Wap, GPRS. Memory: 34 Mbytes plus 512 Mbyte Memory Stick Duo - great opportunity for keeping your favourite MP3s and even more games. So.. what else.. As phone user I can tell that Camera is brilliant, flash and effects and everything are great. MP3 player is out of this world, and you can store so many songs on the phone. Radio is really good too! Its like a DAB, its so fast to switch from radio stations. Be sure It's really worth to be bought.

Having had a Sony Ericsson mobile previously (the K700i) I was slightly apprehensive about purchasing another because of all the 'glitches' I had with the previous phone. On paper they are great phones but I had quite a few problems with the phone 'freezing' and swapping numbers etc that I had almost decided not to buy another Sony.

Well I have to say I do like the W800i. Having a phone and walkman combined is great and I like all the features of the phone - the only thing I'm not particularly keen on is the camera - it can be tricky to take photos and it is quite noisy about it, which is something that put me off the K700i - it is nice to be able to be discrete sometimes!

The phone has the usual organiser with calendar, reminders, notes, tasks etc which are very useful for day to day life. There are games, which I haven't played but I think are the usual, nothing too exciting there. The biggest improvement is the charger - it is not the tacky, easy-to-break and difficult to charge contraption that previous models had but it is a simple device which clicks straight in.

Good keypad with a square, no nonsense layout, nice-size buttons and it is very easy to navigate round menus. The shortcut facility on the phone is extremely useful - there is the notorious joystick but believe me it is much improved from previous models and I have not really had any problems with it.

A bonus with this phone is you can play the walkman and still use the other programs in the phone as the walkman can be minimised. When you start the phone up you also have the option of starting up the walkman only - handy if you want to listen to music and not be disturbed by callers!

A useful feature of the phone is the light - my previous phone had a light but this model has several options - SOS, on permanently or on for one minute.

I really like the fact the phone has a memory stick which you can use to store pictures or to put music on the phone.

Overall, I love the phone and Sony have done a pretty good job of persuading a sceptic to remain a loyal customer! :)

it is perfectly great phone nothing bad about it. its got a great style and great phone, if you are thinking of getting one GET IT NOW....

great little phone. i do not have any probs with it turning off or have any difficulty with the buttons. i love everything . could be a little louder but it is sufficient.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER WHOS 17. IT IS A STYLISH WELL MADE PHONE AND PERFECT FOR MUSIC DOWNLOADS/LISTENING. IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT MUSIC THEN THIS IS THE PHONE FOR YOU. IT ALSO HAS A GREAT CAMERA/VIDEO ACTION AND THE PICTURE QUALITY IS SUPERB. MORE EXPENSIVE PHONES ARE NOT A PATCH ON THIS LITTLE BEAUT.

this is the 1st sony ericsson phone i have ever purchased (i have always stuck to nokia).i purchased it just 6 months ago and would say it is the best phone i have ever had, until most recent when the camera broke. i have since found from other owners feedback, that this is a common problem with this model of phone. what a shame!!!!!! i have rated this phone average because i believe the life of a £200.00 phone(when purchased) should exceed 6 months.

I have found my W800I to be very useful, being able to play music and have a camera that takes good photos.
The Nokia I had before on normal use would last a week before charging, my W800I needs charging under normal use every three days.
I would recommend anyone using a W800I on site work to purchase a plastic protective case because I am now on my second screen, I have never had this problem with any other phone.

Do not be put off by my comments, the phone is a good one and I will not be changing it for some time yet.

Purchased as an upgrade for my daughter as it doubles as an mp3 player and good camera, her ipod lasted about two years with constant use the w800i has all the functions needed as an mp3 in fact almost more functions than your average student can cope with !! a great phone and remember you can talk to people on it as well !!!

this phone is easy to use and loads of functions, the best bit is how loud the volume is when your playing music, and its good quality, this supprised me, in a good way.. ...
everything else i could say is like any other phone on the market, so ill say no more

Its really easy to text on. The camera is pretty good. The headphones are loud, and I like the way you can trade themes.

Phone delivered ok , everything in box great until i tried to phone it . Engaged tone , phoned vodaphone found out it has been reported stolen and is blocked . So the phone is no good to anyone , this phone was for my daughters birthday so im really fed up . I think you are taking a real gamble when you buy phones off ebay . I even left them possitive feedback before i found out AHHH !

Love the phone I needed more memory so I could listen to muisc and also post my photographs on pc. Was well wrapped and delivery was prompt.

i bought a sony erricson from this seller that came on the same day that he said he also sent me a message telling me that my package would not come the day after beacause it was bank holiday.so he said that the package come two days late. and it did i think this seller is good.

Sony Ericsson is one of the best Phone's out there.
i like the look, size and the thing it can do.
as fare as a phone go's it's got the lot for me.

very accurate description of the item got what i was expecting!!! came within the time specified and fitted a charger i already had really pleased got a deal, steal, sale of the century happy as larry running out of things to say would buy from this seller again without hesitating!!!

I was very disapointed as this was worded to look like it was a phone for sale when it was only a disc with software.
