Sony Ericsson K800i Mobile Phone

Overall, a very impressive phone! The image quality from the camera is fantastic!, and mp3 playback through the provided headphones is impressive, though bass is predictably weak when using the inbuilt speaker.
The menus are very clear and easy to navigate, and the screen is just beautiful..! Very bright and sharp. Some people have complained about the size of the phone, but it's quite easy to find the handset dimensions on the internet, or even go into a shop and look at one.
I agree that the styling may be a little 'Boxy' for some, but it's growing on me and I quite like the contrast of the angular face with the more gently curving sides.
If you're surprised by the physical appearance when it arrives, you haven't done your research properly!
The software installation is a little cumbersome, as you have to rely on windows XP repeatedly 'detecting new hardware' and prompting you to install drivers, a good half a dozen times in all. However, once installed, it worked perfectly for me.
The only real complaint I have is about battery life, as I type this it's at less than 5%, having only been charged 30hrs ago. In that time I've used it for perhaps 20mins in camera mode, 30mins in mp3 playback mode, and about 4hrs in phone mode (creating address book entries, text messages etc).

This phone has some of the best features i have seen in a long time, i decided to buy it as my son had one and also praised it highly.

I was looking for a replacement for my daughters phone cause it wouldn't charge, this phone fitted all my daughters fussy requirements. My daughter loves this phone cause she is glad to get all the uses back what she likes and more, it saved me time and money and a lot of fuss taking my daughter shopping. Thanks to this e-buyer 5*.

its a good phone, its just i bought a dead one lol. its a good thing i fixed it and now its cool. my old one has been through water twice and smashed all over the place and still works. screw samsung,motorola and nokia lol. sony erricson rules!

Bought the item because it was advertised as next day delivery. Item was won on Tuesday, payment was made immediatley by Paypal and I did not receive the item until Tuesday of the following week.I contacted the seller to ask when the item would be despatched and was informed that the due to work committments had been unable to post until the Saturday. I would hardly say that this was next day delivery! They left me feed back saying that I complained about having to wait 4 working days for delivery, I think I was within my rights.

Grea phone, does everything you want with ample facilities yet is at a low price! when it was released was surely a phone ahead of its time! had this phone 2 years, yet to have found a fault, highly reccomended!!!

This is a fantastic phone, I am now on my second one after using my old one to death. The firmware is great, no crashes, the camera eclipses nearly everything else on the market, and has a good flash too. Easy to add a memory card to allow you to store music. Only issue is its a little bulky, but the features and reliability outweigh this. Battery life is also excellent on Sony Ericssons.
I would only possibly change it for a C902, but until it has been tried and tested I'm happy to stay with this gem.

Great for and all rounder ie Music, games, speaker phone, web browser, 3rd party apps the list goes on.
But the best part is the camera. It has a xenon flash which most phones do not, and takes really very good snaps. When you need a camera the most you have one!
Still have not found a better overall phone, and at the price second hand its unbeatable.

I loved every minute of having it.
I never had one faulty with it!

the camara is great. the speaker is loud and clear. the screen is really clear, and internet browsing is real easy. if you get it on three, you can read the news for free. all over, a great phone

this is one of the best phones out, the camera is supurb, i have tried lots of phones and this one still stands out for me, this is the second one i have had, if you use the camera as much as i do then this is a must...

This an easy to use phone with reasonable hi spec features thrown in [camera etc] i will be quite happy to continue with this model for a long time instead of chasing after new hi tech ones signal stength is very good in a low signal area were i live.

Sony Ericsson K800i Mobile Phone,Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision.

The Sony Ericsson Phone is very easy to use, the reason for buying the K800I was to upgrade my wifes old one, it also has an excellent 3.2 camera, Dislikes -None.

just a message, there are a lot of rogue traders selling 3 contracts, I got a £35 CONTRACT ON 3 WITH 50% CASH BACK, BUT DIDNT GET THE CASH BACK,but didnt get the cash back, then a £15 contract that they took £35 instead. well I just got a credi for £350 my cash back plus the extra they took £20 extra a month.
so the only reason I am buying this product is my phone is broken and I have £325 woth of credit from 3 so I might as well use it, but god sake dont go to 3 there are better companies out there I can get the same contract 300 talk 200 text for £8.50 from orange and I am paying 3 £15!! and customer service is rubbish even the epsom shops number is ex directory!!!
