I bought this phone because it has everything you need in a mobile phone. A decent camera, Mp3 player, and a good memory capacity of about 70 megs.This one as a memory card (1Gig). I have stoted about 20 mp3 songs already. But still have abot 850 megs on card and 70 untouched megs on the phone.
I have a contract with T mob, and got one of these phones with it nearly 14 months ago. And have had no probs, but I dropped it and it broke the screen. So I had tmob repair it. I have also bought a new cover for the phone I bought. It looks like new. If you want a nice Mobile with easy controls.Then buy a Sony Ericsson K800i. Thanks for looking.

After having upgraded to the Ericsson C902, I have been using this phone but have run into some problems. I ordered this phone again because it's reliable, good camera, handy features and just an overall good phone to fall back on.

Amazing phone, fully customisable, easy to download new games, great reception, takes amazing photos, has wonderful photo editing features, and ultimately a great value phone which I'm glad I purchased.

Decent battery life, nice looks, excellent 3mpx camera with xenon flash all for £35. not bad at all.

poor josystick as with most SE's that will need replacing after a year of usage.
Video recording capabilities are simply sad at 176x144, but if you can get over those you can buy a superb hone for under £40.

in any case, excellent value for money.

to use as a second phone (the phone i bought from ebay is unssable) so watch what you bye as i wont be buying another phone from ebay again as that has put me off

Sony Ericsson has always, and will always, be my favourite mobile phone. As much as I love technology, I'm prepared to stand still and keep this for as long as I can. It's easy to use, has a great camera with flash, and just feels good!

The keys may be a little smaller than I'm used to, but it's worth that tiny sacrifice for the larger screen. The MP3 player is very good and the extra memory card I purchased for this purpose means I don't need a separate MP3 player.

The exterior quality of the phone was as described very good, hardly a scratch. HOWEVER, after a few hours use we discovered that the phone has a fault and switches itself off. which was not writeen in the description on the sellers page.

The Sony Ericsson is an excellent phone. It's a bit long in the tooth now and very hard to find in the shops as it's been discontinued. Luckily there are plenty on ebay. Sony Ericsson phones are a bit patchy in their quality of build. The K800i is of solidly built materials and can survive many hard knocks. Before coming back to the k800i I tried the S500i new and it literally fell apart within 28 days and that's with careful handling. Luckily I got my money back and came back to the k800i. Excellent camera, and although it's only 3.2 megapixels it outstrips many 5mp phones. Add to this a good music player and easy to use user interface and your onto a sure fire winner.Add a 2g memory card and you have room for hundreds of music tracks and pictures. The only downside is the lens cover which does tend to open in your pocket or bag draining your battery. It's also a bit bulky. If you can overlook this then you're onto a sure fire winner!

I wanted a Christmas present for my daughter. She was dead set keen on an expensive mobile and it was only a week before Christmas! I had not been paid until then so the clock was ticking!

I spent hours in the previous weeks looking on Ebay for the right sort of phone as she sat by me saying no or yes and gradually we compromised to one that would cost around £100.

As soon as my money went into the bank I visited the site again knowing what I was looking for. I looked at buy it now options as well as the bidding one too. If the phone was to be sent by post the bidding had to be hours not days!

I saw a mobile that suited all criteria and bid on it imediately, watching the time go down and sweating my bargan would disappear to a last minute bid... but no.... after a few hours I'd won it! I was over the moon. It was going to be a good Christmas. I relaxed and forgot about it.

48 hours laterthe seller contacted me to explain a mistake had been made. My bid although successful could not be honoured as no Mobile Cybershot (as advertised) was available. I was absolutely gutted. The deadline for posting was long gone. My daughter was not going to have her main present on Christmas day. At 16 years old these things are better weathered than if she was younger but I felt terrible!

If I had of managed to purchase the item and the seller had not overextended himself I would have been very pleased. It was a bargan. BUY no such luck... I had to borrow a little extra and go to the hight street... I just couldnt let the present thing ruin Christmas FOR ME!!

I have had wonderful bargans off Ebay and enjoyed meeting with very pleasent sellers who fall over themselves to be helpful... but this is another aspect of buying on the web... DONT LEAVE IT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!!

I bought my SE k800i on ebay as i've owned one before and , (for now ) there's nothing even close for this kind of money (about £25-£50 second hand)..
It is: 1: an outstanding Cyber-Shot camera with many editing and blogging features
and true xenon flash (unlike its newer sibling the K770i)
2: a great 3G communication device with multitudes of accessories
3: a great web phone with RSS Reader and advanced browsing making
Ebay and paypal usage easy on the move (Especially when running
Opera Mini)......

All in all a great economical buy which still outshines many £100+ phones!

dislike i hate to say it but when i put my sim card in the phone it didnt work because everytime you turn the phone on there is no signal and the button or scroller does not work properly when push up

Good quality phone sound . Volume for ringtone and music could be a lot better.Excellent camers 3.2 mega Pix . Solid build .Plenty of extra memory on additional memory card.Bought this phone as my contract phone disintegraded in the Spanish sun , and I needed a 3phone to continue my contract for a few months. Be warned you cannot use just any unlocked phone if you have a 3phone

Ease of use, easy to see screen. Excellent camera giving really good quality photographs. Been used as my main camera for many years. Bought this one as a replacement for my K850 which I would not advise anyone to buy as myself and 4other people that I know all had problems with it freezing and then eventually the screen packing up altogether
