I bought this for someone after recommending it and they use it every day.. I have one myself and it is excellent value for money. Ok, it doesn't have optical or HDMI but for someone who isn't too insterested in the top end but wants another level to watching DVDs or even just TV then this is ideal. Very easy to install and you won't believe the sound quality you have been putting up with using just TV speakers. This is an older unit but can get an excellent deal if you look around.. Go for it!!.

) The Sony DAV-S400 Theater System is not the newest or the top of the line for them, but this little system has power (about 300 rms) The sound quality is high and the used price is cheap the only down with this systen is that the speaker connectors can be problematic. Personaly I am very happy with this system.
