The DAV-DZ231 5.1 Home Cinema is a truly professional entertainment system that guarantees you a high-definition audio/video show.

Equipped with a digital S-Master 24-bit amplification system, the DAV-DZ231 delivers 850 W of power.

The complete system is composed of a DVD player amp, 4 satellite speakers, a central speaker and a 140-W subwoofer And HMDI CABLE

The DAV-DZ231 Home Cinema includes Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic audio decoders.

The DVD player is compatible with the most common discs and formats such as DivX, MP3 and JPEG.

Its Bravia Theatre Sync function enables the system to synchronise itself with any Bravia-series television.

The AV Sync function optimises sound and picture synchronisation with flat-screen TVs.

I bought this item to upgrade from my GRUNDIG HOME THEATRE SYSTEM, which may appear on an eBay screen soon. Its a very good system and works well, I was surprised when I unpacked the SONY DAV-DZ230 that it was brand new all the wires were still folded and bagged and all the satellite speakers in origional packing so I dont think it had been used.
The surround sound is brilliant and easy to set up, and with having the DVD resume facility if you have to remove a disc before its finished and play another one or two discs when you put the first disc back in it starts from where it left off. Exellent Buy and a very good price.
