Sony Cybershot DSC-T200 Digital Camera

This is one of the best Sony Cybershot Digital Camera - Sony has ever made - clearer shap pictures and sharp focus - Downside is the viewing lens - This needs cleaning all the time, as it leaves finger prints on the lens.
Other than this fall - It’s well recommended

- Quite heavy compared to most
- Menu isnt that intuitive to navigate through the first few times you use it

Good overall camera, maybe not for the less tech savvy person.

I love the massive touch screen on the back, You can control almost all the fetchers thought it apart from the zoom and the shutter. the bad thing is when I had the DSC-T100 the screen cranked I hope it dues not happen with this one.

I needed a camera for nights out and photos of the family. I was looking for reasonable size and a decent level of picture quality, the T200 came with an 8.1mp Carl Zeiss lens and is thin and easy to carry. I owned a cybershot before and liked the way it worked. The touch screen feature of the T200 makes it far easier to use and a pleasure to take pictures with.
I had been using an N95 for photos when out, it was a nightmare, by the time the pictures had processed and you realised they weren't any good 3-5 seconds had passed so taking another photo meant getting every back in position again then hoping the picture would turn out better than before. With the Sony no such problem exists, simple case of point, shoot, check picture and if necessary take another with no pause, happiness for all involved.
The video capability is of a very high standard and is again easily manipulated using the touch screen with the wand provided, so no complaints there either. My old Sony camera had a tendency to video slightly too darkly but this one is much improved, maybe better lens or improved technology, I don't know but the improvement is dramatic.
All in all if your looking for a great little camera for taking pictures and videos where an SLR isn't an option buy this camera. It's great covering all the bases well. Recommended A+++

JUST WANA SAY THAT I PAID £195 FOR SONY T200 CAMERA BUT NEVER RECEIVED IT AND EBAY DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. I WILL NEVER USE EBAY AGAIN IN MY LIFE. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND EBAY TO ANYONE. SO WATCH OUT FOR SCAMMERS. EBAY IS NOT SAFE AT ALL.

Deze camera is menutechnisch uitstekend te bedienen met het aanraakscherm.
Dit scherm is ronduit groot.Je kunt op een 2 gb kaartje duizenden foto,s nemen of loaden en deze aan familie en vrienden op de camera tonen,omdat het scherm groot en scherp is. Het apparaat maakt scherpe en vooral kleurgetrouwe opnamen.Het apparaat past gemakkelijk in een borstzak van colbert of shirt. Een nadeel is dat de camera weinig grip biedt en de lens zit op een verkeerde plaats,waardoor deze vaak gedeeltelijk wordt afgedekt door een vingertop.

Excellent value and very easy to use. Screen is the full size of the back of the camera so large size makes pictures very easy to review / edit with the touch-screen facility. Produces high quality pictures in all lighting conditions. Has all of the functions that you would expect, although the auto setting does everything for you so a good choice for both point and shoot users and also for the more experienced photographer. A new function for me is face and smile recognition and it actually works- amazing! Lightweight and sleak design - this camera has to be the best in its price range. The movie function is ideal and includes sound - this saves buying a camcorder and we have used this loads filming our baby girl.

this is truly an awesome camera the reason that i bought it was for the smile capture which dose exactly on the box. the camera is has a great carlz lenz. if you r in doubt have a look a youtube.com night time hong kong t100 and you;ll see why i bought it if the t100 dose that kind of quality then t200 is far better. the only negative is the touch screen is slightly clumsy in some response ( nothing too much).

This camera is very easy to use and takes great photos. The battery life is excellent and the large 3.5 LCD screen makes it easy to see what you are photographing even in bright sunlight. I recommend a clear adheshive LCD screen protector available from eBay or Amazon as the large screen could be vulnerable to scratching.

I bought this camera because I like the quality of Sony products and the I felt that the price was reasonable. You may want to also consider the Sony Cybershot DSC-T300 which takes 10.1 megapixel shots, however it is a bit more expensive.

You will love that camera, the touch screen operation is so great when you understand how it works, the photos are shot so quickly... All in comparison to my old one Sony DSC-T5, so that's a great improvement. Also possibility of making photos in a format that fits well in a new coputer's wide screen is a great thing... You can easily change options just before you take a photo - all is so easily accessible... I can't think about anything more and am sure I don't use all possibilities but for that I would need to know more about making photos, I think. Together with a 4GB memory card, it has a really great potential for memorising nice moments of life.

Quick and simple to use; massive quality images (A3 size prints).

If I read the manual better, the menus woud be dead easy; as it is, they are intuitive and quick to learn.

Disappointed. Whatever I do with the settings I still don’t get the quality of photos I got with my previews SONY which was a DSC-P92 model. I got some excellent photos with that but with the T-200 I yet to see that. Also the P92 was much easier and quicker in changing setting than this model.

there is nothing i can say about this camera to make any one not to buy this peace of art camera i love it the picture is very high quality

This my forth Sony Cybershot and it is the best of all, easy to use, good quality pictures, happy smile funtion really good. Excellent.
