Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W40 Digital Camera

A superb little camera with idiot proof functions, small enough to fit in your pocket but with plenty of quality. The camera takes great shots and good quality video, has an exceptional battery life, I took mine snowboarding for a week, took 300 photos and about 10 videos and still had half the battery left and that was after showing all your mates the shots after I took them.

I love this camera, onl;y downside it doesn't come with a leather case but you can pick these up off e-bay, looking for new one as I just dropped mine and broke the zoom lense!

bought this for my brother's graduation present and he loved it. Very good as it came with a case. Easy to use with ample storage. Looks good and not heavy at all.

When it comes to taking pictures, I would luv to have more details on the picture. Though I bought it in June 2008- time during which there are 12.1 Megapixels cameras available, my minimum knowledge about 'Mega Pixels' helped me cut down my budget. 6.1 megapixels is more than enough for a photo print out of size A4 sheet while we hardly take photo printe that are more than 6" by 4". So I went for W40.
This camera is better than the later models like W55 as there is detailed descripton of the photo mode being used.
Only disadvantage being the size of the LCD screen which is less than the later models.

like beacuse 6 meg pixel i enuogh,make good photo or like somebody like enough for eyes,remember that is not profesional camera,small digital camera ,should be little bit more screen
