Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX1 Digital Camera

I have had Sony cameras for years (still & video) and although the camera I have (DSC-S50) is 8 years old & 2 mega pixels, it took very good photos as it had a Carl Zeiss lens. The flexible viewing screen was also a must for any new camera.
This new Sony caught my eye the first time Sony emailed me and then there was a write up in a newspaper by Austin Mitchell MP which convinced me this was to be my next camera. The flexibility is mind-blowing and will take me a while to remeber it all (if possible) and the panoramic shooter is stunningly good. With an 8GB card and possibly a spare battery I can take thousands of photos as well as hours of video with one piece of kit. It is very compact, incredibly light but still oozes the Sony quality. The automatic flash can be disabled and it is man enough for any shot. The optical zoom is superb with great clarity.
This camera was perfect for my requirments and at a sub £300 price tag an absolute bargain - truly great performance and fantastic value for money. Well done Sony!!
