A excellent camera, good build qulity, easy to hold, great features suck as "night vison" so you can take pictures with no light at all without the flash, good for i.e taking a picture of your sleeping shild without waking hem up. Also theres a smile option, you click the snap button and it highlights the head of the person/s but doesnt take the picture untill they smile which it then takes automatic making you get the perfect picture everytime. Does take a while to work everything as theres loads of options but as soon as your remember how to do everything its a very good camera. Zoom is exelent, and can get excellent shutter speeds although on the fastest and slowest speed you do sometimes get either dark or bright photos. But you can keep the quailt of the photo with a fast or slow shutter speed if you dont go for the fastest or slowest shutter speed. Mine was a ex display model so im not sure if a boxed one would come with the following but i would reccomend getting a case and a data cable from the camera to the pc for easy transfer of picture.

I was looking for a light weight digital camera with reasonably wide zoom range and a medium to high sensor count (9 mpx). I have always rated the most important aspect of any camera to be the lens and despite claims for the latest technology still think that zeiss lenses with perhaps also leica and schneider are the best to be found.
One negative aspect, although not that important, is the ability to control the "beep". When "on" the noise is terrible with the only alternatives being the shutter click or nothing at all. I would have liked to have been able to switch on the low-level beep to confirm focus. Battery life does not seem to be quite up to the manufacturer's claim and it is safer to carry a fully charged spare.
Despite the above the camera has really met my expectations and, in my view, cannot otherwise be faulted. A first class piece of kit.
