Sony CDX-M9900 Car CD/ MP3 Player

Godd Cd player. Great dipslay, teh only thing that could top this CD player would be to get one with built-in bluetooth as well. Quality of sound is excellent, build, all of it good. The ONLY negative thing about this CD player is that the front panel is NOT detatchable. Though it has 4 digit code protection, nothing beats a removable front panel as a deterrant.

Today I would like to review great radio Sony CDX M9900.
Radio is made really good quality and it looks really good in the car.

This radio I have in my Renault Laguna 2003 and radio is connected with my steering well.
The quality off sound on this radio is top of the range.
I really recommend this radio.

Excellent headunit. Easy to use, with nicely laid out menus. Straight forward to install.
TFT screen is clear and images sharp. I have not tried a movie yet, but see no problem y it will not look great. Blue back-lit buttons are a bonus

Sound quality is awesome. Still getting used to the idea of been able to fine tune a lot of the three 4V outputs, to suit my personal taste.

Dislikes, some of the display functions, like cd text. Some titles are difficult to see at time. The remote control is also big and bulky unlike other active black Sony headunits.

The main reason I bought this headunit, is I do not have space/access to some bottons on my vectra b.

A great all round headunit!

I have had this head unit for over a year now, and it still impresses me! It really does, do it everything. the colour screen can used with a dvd play or playstation. You can plug in a amp for a sub too. It's moterised front hides the cd slot and is really cool! The only problem with it, is that it's not a face off headunit, so its not all that secure. But you can set up a password code, like in standard manufacturers headunits. the middle buttons of the remote that came with it glow in the dark too, whitch is a nice feature.
