Sony BDP-S500 Blu-Ray Player

Thought the ebayer described it in good detail and sent in very fast time,this is a truly top ebayer who I wud highly recomend.

the first thing i must say about this machine is the very long load time for blu ray films, this is the first blu ray machine i have owned and i dont quite get why it should take so long to load, anyway once it has the picture quality is outstanding, good colour , amazing detail,i also have an hd dvd player (xbox 360 separate driver) which if i was honest, i would say is better than blu ray,but blu ray is the winning format ((plenty of older titles though on hd dvd) i bought this machine for the audio outputs as i have a pre hdmi cinema amp (denon avc a10se) and it really is amazing! i use mission 752's and i cannot fault it as a setup, the blu ray machine gives better sound than the hd dvd but probably because its a more expensive machine! also i use coaxial, which is often better, on the blu ray and optical on the hd dvd and this sounds a little bass light

Good picture and great sound, difficult to set up the audio and picture. there are so many settings to play in different modes, it can get confusing for the inexperienced. But then the inexperienced would probabley not spend so much on a player of this quality.

This is a superb machine with a drop down front. The picture quality is fantastic. It is very slow to load blu ray disks although DVDs are unaffected. There are good deals around!

Great Price and services from the sellar and the blu-Ray Player is the best I've had to date Top Marks, This item is a true sony 1st class bit of kit and will last for years I am sure.
