Some Kind Of Wonderful / Pretty In Pink / Planes, Trains And Automobiles (DVD 2004)

I have been looking for Pretty in Pink and Some Kind of Wonderful for a long time. To find them in a set is amazing. All four films, Pretty In Pink, Some kind of Wonderful, Planes, Trains and automobiles and Ferris Buellers Day off are all amazing.

Pretty In Pink

As a teenager this gave me hope because I couldn't afford what others around me had, and I still felt that I was as good as every one else as I was True to myself... Excellent line from the film "I always believed in you"... Wow ... what a line. I'm not saying that I had the fairytale romance at school, but the hope was there.

Some Kind Of Wonderful

I was "Watts",(Mary Stuart Masterson) I climbed trees (Not played the drums) didn't study and was loyal to my friends no matter what. That was me at my school. I didn't manage to grab my best friend though. Shame...

Ferris Buellers Day Off

I had the occasional day off, not quite as daring as this (well I COULDN'T drive at that age) definately couldn't sing, but would have loved to have done all that and got away with it....

Planes Trains and Automobiles

John Candy and Steve Martin play these characters so well.
It makes you laugh, definately cringe and thanking everything about you that you are watching and not in the close vacinity of either of them.


Basically to sum it up:-

an excellent set,Great performances by all, in every film, all I need to get is St.Elmo's Fire and The Breakfast Club and I am set for life. Definately watching them all with a glass of wine, and the intention of going no where...

I put one on, then the next, then the next and was there all day watching all of the films. Definately buy this set..
