This Christmas, I was trying to get into a festive mood and decided I needed a little help. So I bought The Snowman / Father Christmas on DVD and it was perfect! The two films were clear and very enjoyable! The voices were perfect as was everything else.

A real pleasure to watch and bring back memories of when my kids were little, now i can have the pleasure of watching it with my grandchildren has well, many thanks ginny.

This was a great film and kept me entertaind thouh out the whole time i was viewing it. great film and quality recording.

Christmas wouldn't be complete without Raymond Briggs 'the snowman' and 'father christmas'.
Timeless classics that appeal to all ages- the animation is brilliant and the stories truely endearing.

I've just bought this as a present for my 5 year old son & 2 year old daughter for this Christmas. I remember when the Snowman first came out in 1982 when I was a lad- I find the story as magical now as I did then. It tells the story of a young boy whose snowman comes to life at midnight and they set off on a seies of magical adventures over the course of the early hours flying high above the fiels and houses encountering other snowmen and Father Christmas along the way. It's an essential Christmas Childrens classic & together with the hilarious story of a grumpy but loveable Father Christmas voiced by Mel Smith which links in at the end with the Snowman ,is a must for young and old alike.***** 5 STARS FROM ME*****

i bought this for my husband as a christmas gift,we both love it as we saw it in the 80's when we were kids.it makes you feel realy festive!

An inspiration to us all. I was surprised to see the David Bowie intro as i remember a diferent intro as a child (by the author). But it was the same good old jam in the sandwich. Great music too. Fabulous. A great buy.

This is one for the children. The snowman is the better of the two. But even i enjoyed the two films.

Even better than I remembered it was when I decided to buy it for my little boy - just a lovely film for children of all ages, beautiful animation and gentle comedy

I bought this DVD for my son-in-law who likes to watch this film on the television every Christmas with the rest of the family, but it was not billed this year, so I decided to buy it for future use.

Very nice Snowman story. Lovely animation and music. Thought my 3 y.o. daughter might be sad when Snowman melts but she said he could build another one. She was concerned about the boy getting back to his house though.
I wasn't so keen on the Father Christmas story for my daughter due to FC drinking and smoking a pipe and being quite grumpy. She enjoyed it, but wanted to know where he'd left the reindeer when in Vegas.

I bought this for my two daughters 1 is 2 the other 5 months, my eldest watched this on television and was mesmerised by the whole thing so i bought it for her christmas present and i hope to bring it out year after year.
the item was described perfectly and was in excellent condition. the only dislikes i have was the packaging could have been better as is was very thin and i would have prefered to pay by paypal rather than cheque.

I am sure the Snowman/Father Christmas DVD is excellent having seen both before, however this DVD never arrived after I ordered and paid for it.

One of my favourite dvds as it has special memories of when my kids used to snuggle up on the settee to watch it. A great watch for the young and older generation.

i decided to buy this as a present for my three year old son to my disappointment and his it was a copied dvd no case just a disc that didnt work i was never refunded or go an apology!!!!!

excellent condition, it was indeed brand new and sealed as stated in the sellers ebay sale shop. the price was very good for a new dvd

dvd works well but it looks like there is a disc missingin the packaging but what I do not know?
