This has to be one of the best hip hop records of all time. Before this was released Dre was a good producer and Snoop was a guest rapper/new kid on the block. When Doggy style was released in 1993 it put the west coast scene on the map, Dre was now a mega producer and Snoop a rap star on a scale like no one before him. For those old enough to remember this album was HUGE.
Dre's beats and Snoops laid back MC style complemented each other perfectly. This album spawned the hits Gin And Juice, Who am I(Whats My Name?) and the unforgettable Aint No Fun.
If you can pick this up on ebay for a decent price then I say go for it, you wont be disappointed.
